Rafael Ibanez - Photographer Review?

Hi girls,

I got married 30.10.2008 in Playa del Carmen and Rafael was our photographer.

I found him here in this forum and even took a part in a special contest (photo giveaway) but I didn't win :-) Even though we loved Rafa's work so much that we asked him to be our photographer. He is really nice person. He created so cheerful and friendly atmosphere that we forgot about all stress and shame. He was with us almost 3 days. The evening before wedding, all wedding day and the day after (Trash the dress session). It was really fun to work with him and I think that it is shown on our pictures.

Rafael made for us two slideshows:

First is from our wedding:

Another one is from Trash The Dress Session:

We are from Poland and many people have already seen these pictures. All of them are a big fans of Rafa now. So if you want to have your wedding captured in unforgetable pictures you should ask Rafael to be your photographer. :-)

Hey Ladies, I got married on Dec. 7th & Rafa was my photographer, he is amazing to work with!!!! You will be so happy with everything he does :) I haven't gotten all my pics yet, since our wedding was barely 2 weeks ago, but there are some teasers from our wedding he put on his facebook, if you have an account. Look at "Josh & Laura" album...

He is really great, exceptionally talented, you WON'T be disappointed at all!

Once he sends me the pics I will post them!

Hi there everyone, Could I ask all you lovely people what prices or price packages Rafael has roughly? We're looking to possibly book him for our June wedding but just wanted an idea on prices before he gets back to us. Thanks in advance. Feel free to pm me if you prefer.

Hey, I used Rafa for our wedding in Dec. '08 down in Tulum, Mexico. He was amazing! Here's his site info RAFAEL IBAÑEZ & then if you have FB he's on there & answer's quickly on all questions. He can accomodate to what you & your fiance are looking for in a package & does a great job! Please feel free to ask me any questions about him or his work! I think he is very reasonable & much cheaper than alot of photographers out there.

Good Luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
