Hi Petals, thanks for the great information - I too am going to be a Palladium bride. We are booked for the week of January 31, 2009 - wedding will be February 3, 2009. Hearing first hand information from someone who has been there is very comforting. If you have any other information or pics that you could share it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Petals, another question - do you have a map of the resort that you could post or e-mail me? My e-mail address is morstorms@hotmail.com.

Charmaine said you can get 2 hours at Poseidon or 3 hours at Blue Lagoon.

Petals - thanks for all the information. I am still so confused on picking a spot - so many nice places to choose from. But your information is definitely helpful. Good luck with the rest of the planning!

Overwhelming? Not really. I thought the size was fine especially considering there's not much to do in the areas immediately surrounding the hotel (you'd have to get a driver to take you to Negril or Montego Bay).

We stayed in one of the buildings that was pretty close to everything. If you're traveling with older guests, I'd recommend requesting a room in one of the closer buildings so they don't have to walk 15 minutes just to get to breakfast & lunch. I could see how it could be tiring having to walk all the way across the property to get to the restaurants.

Here are a few more random pics from my visit to Grand Palladium-- hope this helps. :-)

View from a bluff down onto a beach/cove (this is the one by Poseidon)

Another beach (also hit by the hurricane-- poor palm trees) That is not the wedding gazebo in the background.

This place looks amazing. It must be pricey to get married here.
life is too short, live in the moments.
