Favors - ornaments w/ sand from ceremony beach

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I saw this and thought I might post for all the other December brides out there. We thought that since we are getting married a couple week before Christmas we would give out ornaments with sand from the ceremony beach as favors. That way our family would be able to hang it on their Christmas tree and remember the wedding each year.

We are going to get glass paint pens from a craft store and add our names, date and location to it. Here are just a couple of the shapes:

Original from another BDW bride:

Another I found in square shape:

Flat and round shape example:

Right now I am leaning towards the flat round ones. Since it would take very little sand to make it look 1/2 full and that would make it much lighter to hang. Not sure about adding shells...

Anyone else interested in doing this? Carla wink.gif

These are so cute. I'm planning on doing it [even though our wedding is in February].

We want to give them [empty] to our guests so that they can fill them up themselves. We plan on throwing them into the OOT bags with a cute little saying about filling them up with sand, shells, or whatever they want, for their own keepsakes.

    • I will forever be indebted to the great Dr Black for fixing my broken relationship after my husband left me for his mistress for 6 months. I never believed in spells until my friend introduced me to him. At first, I was skeptical about him because I heard lots about false spell casters but I put doubts behind me for i was desperate to get my husband back and I did according to what he instructed me to do. Now my husband is back just within 48 hours contact him via his email:Blackspelltemple@gmail.com or whatsapp +380501944596
    • Had anyone traveled with their wedding dress on JetBlue? If so can you tell me how you did it? I leave 9/23 and I’m still lost on what I’m doing. I bought a vacuum seal bag but I’m iffy about using that. TIA
    • Hello, has anyone recently gotten married at Le kliff? so far our planning experience hasn’t been the best, does anyone have any recent experience with getting married there?
    • Hi I’m about to book my wedding and wonder if anyone has recently got married at RUI Ocho Rios? Would anyone has the prices for extras please? We are going to book the top package but we need to add extra people as we have 50 guests. we also want to have an after party after the reception - any ideas on the timings for it or prices please? We have emailed the hotel but can’t seem to get any answers until we pay deposit. Which we have just done at Bahia Principe to find out after they won’t allow us to have a reception past 9:30pm even though they said we could at a cost of $300 usd per half hour prior to booking and paying our deposit. We where prepared to pay this even thought it is very expensive plus DJ and bar costs.    we are nervous to book and pay another deposit now incase we are in the situation. We are already paying hundreds of pounds to amend our guests bookings too.    any advice is greatly appreciated please.   thanks  Sam sjpulfer18@hotmail.co.uk
