OMG 2k for a fantasy team, that's insane! Some fantasy football leagues are crazy. me and fi were in the bar a few weeks ago eating lunch, a bunch of guys in jerseys came in with their laptops and one had a chalk board with him. It was pretty funny. I'm in the league with him, we have a team together but i decided to stay home so i could watch my 90210.

I thought my FI's $500 was ridiculous! Isn't it crazy how much they are willing to spend on a game? And really... what are the odds that they'll actually win the pot? Oh well, if it makes him happy...

I think DH's is a $500 buy in. I don't know how it all works. I actually try to stay out of it. LOL

I know that it is run like a business. You get cash for all sorts of things on a sliding scale, it costs to trade, you earn points like NASCAR. It nice because there is a weekly winner so you can make money throughout the season, not just the giant pot at the end.

I think they even have some kind of escrow account where they keep all of the money and it can carry over from season to season.

I don't really mind it, because I'm at work for NFL so it gives him time to watch everything and check the computer, seriously, every 5 minutes for updates.... Hahaha... I had one sunday off last season, and he attempted to teach it to me... It was way over my head... Way more effort than I would be willing to put in. It was also nice to have a sunday where I didn't have to watch the games all day. I just said good luck :)

i kept trying to match up who-is-the-new-who. like obviously brenda/annie, brandon/dixon, but is ethan the new dylan? i kind of thought so, i could see the whole brenda/dylan/kelly triangle repeated in the annie/ethan/naomi thing. we'll see!
I LOVE Lori Laughlin- i adored her on Summerland. I was pissed when the show was cancelled, but I'm happy 90210 is back. It seems they are keeping the balance of hitting the older demo along with the younger demo. My mom watched 90210 with me, so I think it would be cute if moms can relate to this show with their young teen daughters as well.
i loved summerland too :) and i love that the balance is pretty decent, i was worried i wouldnt like it if it was too teeny bopper, but it seems to have some "older" plots. i wondered WTH was up with harry and debbie just breezing past the whole "i have a kid" conversation. unless i missed something?? did anyone else think the long ass commercial breaks were over the top rediculous? the whole damn show would have fit into an hour.
Bring back DONNA damnit! LOL
wooooot! great idea!

My sister kept trying to match the characters up too. I thought it would be a risky move to make too many parallels because it just opens us old folks up to start comparing it to the original 90. But then again, how can we not? :) But I agree- there are some similarities, but so far I don't see a virginal Donna. Where's Donna? LOL just kidding. I'm not that obsessed, but I really do like Tori and I hate seeing her get the shaft.

ETA- oh and the whole baby story- yah I was confused. When Lori (what's her character's name? I don't know how you girls kept track) mentioned something to the hubby about it the next morning, I was like "how did she find out already." Maybe I was talking over it or something.

they never showed the mom and dad (aka the new walsh's) actually talking about the baby situation, that would have been a good conversation....how weird once the kids find out that Naomi, Annie and Dixon have a brother together...I wonder if they will bring this 20 year old into the show as a character.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
