Hey, I need advice on a nice putter to buy FI for his birthday. I don't golf AT ALL, so I have no idea where to even start with this.

Anyone have suggestions for a nice putter?

My FFIL says Bullseye and Scotties Macran putters are popular. It is hard to pick a putter for someone cause there are so many different variations.

That is straight from a golfers mouth.

In Canada we have a really good store called Golf Town, do you have those in the US or something similar? My husband likes to try out the clubs before he buys them and they have a set up in there so you can hit balls and the computer tells you what adjustments need to be made to the clubs.

Anyway, my point is it would be hard to buy a putter for someone without them trying it out in advance. What about a gift certificate? Or maybe you can buy a putter but check at the store that it is returnable.
