Yeah, I haven't been sure how to handle this either.
I like the idea of not sleeping together the night before, just because of the anticipation and tradition, but yes, we live together already, so it's a bit silly, and my FI doesn't really want to do it... So, I'm not sure... We have a while to think about it too, but I would like to part for the night...

BUT, definitely never heard of not spending the day before together, not worrying about that...

I know - it's weird when we already live together, but after giving it further thought, I really like the idea of separate rooms the night before. I also like the idea (sorry I forgot to check to posted it) of having all the BMs spend the night with the bride. That's cute! I'm not sure what we're gonna do, but anticipation is half the fun, right?

We've lived together for years, but I love the idea of spending that last night apart. I think it just helps build the anticipation. Plus, if we woke up together, it'd be like "let's have breakfast together" and then "lets go for a walk" and then "lets get lunch" and then it would be 2 hours before the ceremony before we finally split up. That's no fun.

I also want to spend that last night with my girls!

I agree kate that the anticipation of seeing one another will be more fun if you don't see eachother that day. I'm def doing the girls night now... my MOH wants it and I think it could be alot of fun.

At every wedding I've ever been in the girls stay together the night before. It's so much fun. And, even though none of us are really "traditional" in what we want for our weddings, it's nice to have that little bit of tradition in there.

We are planning on seeing each other the day before, but he will move out the night of and my sister will be with me in my room. I like the idea that we don't see each other until the ceremony. I think it is exciting.

I definately want to sleep in separate rooms the night before. Like everyone else says, it builds the anticipation and excitement. Thank goodness Dreams offers the separate room for Jay with the wedding package we have. We are getting married at 10 a.m. so we won't have too long to wait to see each other. We are getting massages the day before and most likely going to lay on the beach and hang out

Since we are staying at an all inclusive room, we booked my Fiance and myself in the same room all week, but I am sneaking in and staying with my bridesmaids up until the wedding night. I'm still listed on his room for booking purposes. Its kind of important with an all inclusive that you see what their rules are. Some charge a premium for only one person in the room and others have like 3 night stay rules for rooms. But I'm excited for the slumber party before and the anticipation for later.

We also have been living together for about 3 years, so it will be weird to not spend the night with him because he really is my best friend. But I do think it will be really fun to have the night apart and he can goof off with his friends and I can hang out with my girls. The only sad thing is that neither of my older sisters will be coming because they both have babies under 1 years old, so I will really miss that quality time with them pre wedding.
