Yes there is tons of information. I subscribed to theknot.com and yahoo groups for cabo but the information on those sites is minimul compared to BTW. Thank god someone in yahoo recommended I try this forum. I have not st the date yet. I jsut got engaged last month and am looking at an October wedding. I am trying to plan this in 7 month and trying to talk to Yesica or get a response out of her is unreal. But I am glad to see that I am not the only one!! I have been serching around for a WC but after reading through all the postings I am wondering if it even makes sense. I'll shop around and see. But so far(and it has only been one day) this has been a wealth of information and I feel alot better about having a Destination Wedding. I have been married before so I went through all this before, but vendors were local to me. Its rough for them to be in Mexico which is why I am considering a weddign coordinator. Well, any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! You've come to the right place! How many people are you expecting? If you're keeping it fairly small you may not need to get a WC, you could probably just use the resorts and you'll be able to find answers to your questions and great vendors just by talking to the girls that have been or are going to be married there. Good Luck!

Welcome Lisa. I suggest setting a date for Dreams (or wherever you decide) and then booking a photog right away. Those are the things that are hardest to nail down. Then you have plenty of time to find all your other vendors, and of course we can help!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
