Beach Bridal Shoes/Sandals

Recommended Posts

I had the same issue since the ceremony and reception will be on the sand. i want to be barefoot but I also want to have a slip on sandal/ shoe so when i walk on pavement / whatever I have a shoe. And I love shoes so I wanted more than a flip flop. So I went to DSW and they have a lot. The challange is getting a cute shoe without a high heal so when you take them on and off your hem line isn't dragging. here are 2 pairs i bought. .... Yes 2. I am being indecisive!

I've only just started looking! Our plan is to do the ceremony in bare feet, but we've bought our attendants' shoes (clark's brown flip flops for the girls and rockport slip on with toes showing, sort of woven brown leather for the guys). And we need back up shoes too. I actually found 3 good possibilities at Spring, you know, the cheap version of Aldo (I think!). I walked by the store the other day a whole bunch of times and finally thought I should just go look. Well to my surprise, I ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes! I need something that I can walk on the sand in and I'm thinking something different with a little heel for the reception - I need to be able to dance!

This is the first time I've tried putting a photo in my post. Here goes...

I just previewed my message and I obviously don't know what I'm doing. But you can go to the Spring website. They have tons of sandals! I'm deciding between the Manzanillo, the ardd and the Selwyna.

I too will be wearing barefoot sandals. I love them. My bridemaids may or may not wear them I haven't decided yet.

For my reception on a patio I will be wearing these. (try endless.com, they have a decent bridal selection)

They have that relaxed luxury look to them, which I really like. They are a little pricey though, so I'd want to try them on before I commit.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
