So I'm trying to figure out if it's worth doing a TTD session. I'm on a really tight budget for the wedding and was thinking of selling my wedding dress after the wedding, but i really really want to do a TTD session.
Has anyone done a TTD session and cleaned the dress afterwards? How did it look after being cleaned? Does it have to be cleaned right after the session or can it wait until I get back home?

Thank you for your help ladies...

For what it's worth (and I'm sure it will depend on fabric, etc.) the bottom hem of my dress was filthy after the wedding (totally black), and after the TTD, walking in the sand and splashing around in the ocean, it was actually a whole lot cleaner.

I have heard that from almost everyone that has done a TTD. They all say that their dress came out cleaner afterwards.

I got mine cleaned a week later, after honeymoon, and it came out perfectly clean. I just soaked it in the hotel bath tub to get the sand out and let it air dry. I'm thinking of selling mine too cuz it's taking up way too much closet space!

I had 2 dresses. My TTD was SOOOO much cleaner than my ceremony dress!

I think if it is relatively simple, without a lot of places for sand to get stuck, it should be fine.

Also, just because you get your gown cleaned, doesn't mean you have to have it preserved, which is an extra fee.

I just had mine cleaned this week, nearly 2 months after the wedding and it came out fine.
