scary and horrible-bride shot dead on honeymoon!

That is soooo aweful. Now they can both be together again, but it is sad that they get married and can't even get passed the honeymoon alive together.

Really, in the world we live in now, everyone should be careful no matter where you are. Whether you are on vacation somewhere or at home, you should be aware that there are bad people around that don't care about you, me or the next person. They only care about themselves and what they can get from you, me and the next person! It is very sad and I am hoping that no one here has to deal with these types of people on holidays or at home!

that is absolutely terrible!

at least they had the chance to be blissfully married right before they died ... if nothing else, i know i'd like to die happy.

how absolutely awful for their families though ... i can't even imagine what they are going through!

My friend just got married on Saturday... and she's honeymooning there! Needless to say they hadn't heard the story and I wasn't about to tell them. SO sad though.

Hi All,

Well i am from that little island Antigua. As a local here we were horrified of this murder. Needless to say 2 young boys have been arrested. Antigua's murder rate is nothing comparable to islands like jamaica or even larger cities such as Miami or New York. We only have a small population of 100,000 people. I'm not making excuses here but the media houses only want to sell news they don't care of the exaggerations tagged with it. The murder took place 5 mins from my house and up to this day I sleep with my windows open. My house is unlocked during the day, my car keys left in the car. this event devastated the island but as a local we live a laid back and safe lifestyle comparable to the rest of the world. I was educated in Miami and london, 2 major cities and there is no way i will exchange my island life again. Where ever you go know your limits. Be cautious as you are in the city you live in. If anyone has any questions or concerns please please contact me. Regarding security, hotels, restaurants, beaches. Our thoughts and prayers are still with the families of the young couple

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
