Yay!

Thanks for the recommendation...I haven't had a good cab in awhile, but only because pinots have taken a hold of me...excited to try it!

Another great choice, which is probably really frugal in your neighbourhood is a Californian Brand called 'RED TRUCK' - they make a fantastic cab - here in Ontario it runs around the $20 mark, but since it would be local for you it is prob. a lot less.

UPDATE:

FYI - I was at my 2nd moms house last night and she wouldn't let me in the backyard.... SO EXCITING

I'll be hanging out all morning anxiously awaiting the 2;30 mark, so that I can go over!

Well Ladies,

The weekend is over, and I thought I'd let you know how the day unfolded.

I arrived around 2:30 - as per Mom#2's request - only to find that my BM was there! I was so excited - she is a new mom (baby girl was born on July 2), so I really didn't expect her to travel in for the party.

The next exciting component of the day was the professional pedicurist that my mom hired to provide services to the ladies. I was so surprised to see this. It was such a nice treat on a Saturday afternoon!

MY TURN!!!!!

Six ladies in attendance opted for the pedi, here we all are with a near empty glass of wine

Aside from the pedicures, we spent the afternoon swimming and hottubing!!!

In the afternoon, a variety of hors d'oevures were served along with fresh mojitos, and my Mom#2's world famous margaritas.

The dinner for the the event was a tour of Italy, accompanied by many fine italian wines.

I was super surpised to be spoiled with a large selection of vintage wines, all of the wines were accompanied with instructions on when they were to be enjoyed. We received bottles that are slated for:

- our seventh anniversary,

- the birth of our first baby

- the day we dig the hole for our new home on the river

And, many many more... all with different reasons to open.

I was thrilled and so honoured, what a great event!

This is me, right after I finished muddling through my speeches/toasts!

I love the idea of giving vintage wines with a specific date for them to be enjoyed! I am so sentimental and this is something I would love to receive! Looks like everyone had fun!

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
