So I am starting the process of getting in shape for next summer. The good news is that I have some time. I am finding it hard to avoid fatty snacks. Any ideas?

I mix together some low cal cereal (love Barbara's Puffins.) with some peanuts and raisins. Healthy and filling.

Fruit is always a good bet. Sugar free Jell-o pudding snacks.
94% FF popcorn. Kettle brand baked chips.

Thanks for the tips. I have discovered the sugar free jello. I LOVE that stuff.
I buy the cheescake flavor and put half a bananna on it. Yummy.

I really like to snack on Zone bars. They have like 13- 20g of protein, which really fill me up.

              My favorites are...

Weight Watchers snack cakes. one point each
              Fruit of any kind
Kashi Go Lean oatmeal or cereal
              Sugar free Werthers candy

Karen got me started on the weight loss kick last year. I feel so much better than I used to and I have lost 35 pounds so far. Snacking was my downfall before, but now I snack just as much but on better things.

I'm a terrible snacker... I buy a large bag of walnut halves and dried cranberries. I use the little "snack" size baggies and make up a bunch of grab bags. I take one to work for my mid-morning craving and a piece of friut (small bannana or apple) for around 4:00.. that keeps me full between all meals.

I saw on good morning america that walnuts have something in them that make you feel full.

I used to be a big snacker at night. Not anymore.. about 2 hours before bed, we brew a cup of bedtime tea that has calming and soothing affects.

At work I snack on a handful of raw almonds - they are really good for you & don't give you that sugar crash that you would get from "bad snacks." I also try to bring an apple everyday for an afternoon snack.
