Ok, so I went yesterday and ordered our invitations. I thought they were going to take a few weeks to come in...but the guy at the copy shop told me they'll be here by Wed, Friday the latest. I'm so excited!!!!!!!

We fell in love with this invitation months ago and actually went to get prelimary prices as far back as Feb.

Thank god for this forum!!! Most of the actual invitation wording came from it! The little poem on the inside flap, I wrote myself (it's tri-fold). I also plan to get Aqua paper and cut it slightly smaller than the invitations and put the travle info on that and include it. Anyway...I found a site online that has the invitations and lets you input your info and gives you an instant proof!!! So, here's what it should look like :) I think my spacing is off

Ok, so I just realized a few things...first, you can't tell that there are actually hints of aqua in the waves...

Also, the poem reads -

In A Gazebo

By The Sea

Is Where Our Wedding Day Will Be

So Fly With Us

To A Far Off Land

And Witness Desiree

Give Chris Her Hand

And the invitation -

In a Tropical Paradise Surrounded by Family and Friends

With the Waves Crashing and the Palm Trees Swaying

Desiree Middle Last

&

Christopher Middle Last

Invite You to Share the Sun, Sea and Memories of Their Wedding Day

Saturday, January Seventeenth

Two Thousand and Nine

At Two O’clock in the Afternoon

In a Gazebo Overlooking the Beach

at the

Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort

Cancun / Rivera Maya, Mexico

A Celebration Will Follow In Honor Of

Life, Love and The People They Cherish The Most

Thanks! I'm Glad you like it. It's actually one of the first things I came up with :) Even before finding this forum!! LOL

I figured I'd post my invite and wording, becaus I know when I was trying to find wording I had a HARD time. So I figured I'd put it out here in case another bride wants to "borrow" it LOL

The majority of the invite came from Cheese_Diva :) I just added the line about the waves & Treens :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
