WOW!!!  Beautiful pictures.  I love your dress and your bouquet and your sand ceremony.

Did you have to purchase those flower arrangements that are on the table??

I am using the horse and carriage. Other reviews said it wasn't an issue to get to the gazebo.

Thank you! We had 89 guests so we had our reception at the Solarium Mundaca which is located directly above the Mundaca restaurant.

The Coba is on the Cove side (family side)

I rode the carriage and it dropped me off by the stairs. Which I enjoyed because I had a minute to just chat with my father before walking down the isle. It's not far at all. I'll look through my pics and post so that you can see. It was less than a minute from the Gazebo. My guests all stood up and watched my father lift me off the carriage and watched us walk down from the stairs to the isle.

Do any of you know if the horse and carriage can drop you off close to it?  I heard that because of the position of one of the gazebos, they had to drop you off far away.  My FI's only real request for the wedding was to see me arrive in the carriage, so it is important for us to pick the one that is 'carriage accessible' :o

Thank you!

Yes, I purchased the flowers instead of having the fake orchid thing which is shown on the last photo. I paid $80 for each vase. I also had these vases on all of my tables at the reception. They carried these two over from ceremony and used them as decor for reception to. I'll post some reception pics too later today.

I used a travel agent and set up a group rate. My guest booked with my agent. We still qualified for the promotions. We had over 140 nights booked.

Did you have all your guests book through the hotel in order to meet the room nights?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
