Anny, I totally bought that orchid here in the states. It cost me about $6.00 and they look very real. I am going to be using them in my hair for the wedding and might be making my own bouquet. I bought them at this place called Michael's. It is a craft store.

I was actually about to buy them today from michaels ($6 for 3 orchids) but my FI didn't want fake ones.. so he called a friend who's a florist and she told us maybe I could get a strand of 10 orchids for $50 dlls.. so I think it's a good deal.. it'd be $5 dlls each

Michaels and Jo-Ann have plastic orchids Approx. $7 per stem. These look the most realistic.

I would agree. If you do buy fake orchids, don't buy silk ones. Look for the ones made of latex. IMO they look the most real.

            Good find by your FI!!!

Thankfully your FI knows everyone!! If you can get a good deal I would go for the real ones, but I agree with Angie that if the Michaels ones look good then I would get them since you will just be mixing them in with real flowers anyway, I sincerely doubt anyone will notice the difference.

actually the bed bath and beyond ones look really nice. but art stores always have 50% off silk flowers sale, I know our local one, AC Moore is right now.
