what if i legally get married at home in registration office and do a catholic ceromony in Tulum in the resort?

The only way to have a religious ceremony performed in English at this resort is to be married at home... just like you said. So, if that's what you'd like to do then it's possible at the GBP Tulum.

I thought it was required to be married before we went. But that's good news b/c I thought it would take away from everything if we were actually married first.
