Careful! I saw a 20/20 or Dateline episode about crazy neighbors and one guy was attacked with a shovel cuz his neighbor went off the deep end. They had severe vandalism done to their property/cars and caught the crazy neighbor on video doing it.

And I thought I was a bad neighbor for not going over to greet the new couple next door. :)

So sorry you're going through this.. just be sure to document, document, document.

Well I'd personally find a real bad person who needs $50 and get him to twat him!! lol now I may or may not be joking lol

I think you've been nice up to now personally I'd have smacked the old bastard ages ago and got it over with - no witnesses, no evidence and sorry it wasn't me he's off his nut lmao God i should not be a lawyer!!

Or the reasonable way is to document everything and see if you can have him declared a vexatious litigant (not sure what it is in the US) but what it means is you basically get an injunction to shut him the hell up.

If it was me, I would try to talk to him a time or 2 in a really nice way. Sometimes being extra nice even when it isn't expected of you can go a long way. It helps to think about maybe he has real bad things going on in his life and is taking it out on you. Anyway, if you end up in court, you can tell the judge you have tried to talk to him and that will make the judge think better of you. They always want people to try to work it out and talk to each other. The judge will be more on your side if you can tell him the times you tried to talk to the guy. been there, done that.

thanks for everyones input - and of course, varying advice on what to do!! haha! -- I dont know what we are going to do - I hope this guy just shuts up now that his own surveyor told him he was wrong.......... if he wants to push forward with a lawsuit, its probably going to cost him about 3,000 ---- and our lawyer is still free.... so we are hoping this goes away. -- but either way ........ its already so much nicer being able to go out in our backyard and not having to see the bastard!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
