All of your situations pretty much suck! I'm so sorry to hear you are encountering all of this at one time.

It seems that your MOH issue is the one that bothers you the most. I say at least talk to her and see what the real deal is. It seems like this is an important person in your life. And before you throw a long term friendship out of the window, re-evaluate where you guys stand.

And dont forget to let us know if your week gets better

I'm so sorry you are dealing with all this and your wedding is around the corner practically. I know it hurts bc this is your wedding day, your special day and you want all your loved ones there & you've always known that certain people (like your MOH) will be there no matter what and then boom--out of nowhere people start avoiding you and then eventually they break the news that they cant come...and it hurts; I know it hurts me deeply. I agree with everyone else when they say to call your BF (after you calm down a little of course) and talk about the situation...I'm sure this decision is causing her a lot of grief also...my MOH (who's also my cousin, we were pretty close) avoided me for almost 6wks and when I finally called her to see if she's ok, she tells me she cant attend the wedding any longer...so it is a hard blow and it will take some time to get used to the fact that your BF wont be there on your special day but she will be very present in your heart. As far as FI's family not wanting to go or complaining, the heck with them...whether they attend or not, you and your FI are going to have a beautiful DW, they will regret not going!!

Good luck with work...I hope you wont be layed-off, saying my prayers for you...for work and for everything else. Glad to hear that FI is safe by the way And pls let us know if you hear from the WC finally or if you contact her boss. 2-3wks with no replies is pretty bad. Big hugs for you. keep your head up!

Just wanted to say thank you for all of your advice, support and 'virtual drinks',lol. I am feeling much better this morning. I dont think I'm ready to call my ex-MOH,hopefully I will be able to do so this weekend. I will let you all know how that convo goes, I can guarantee it will be extremely emotional. I still need to get over all this surreal week and digest it all.

I talked to my FI about all of the situations and he said as long as me, him, and God are on the beach on 08.08.08, and we 3 are joined at that altar, we will have everything we need plus some.

All of my situations are not the end of the world, and like I mentioned before, I could be so much worse off. It is what it is and I just have to take one step at a time.

's to all of you wonderful virtual friends.

Amen to that, I like his thinking. When people start stressing me out, thats what I'm going to think of from now on!

wow, that's too bad about your maid of honour. While telling you in person would probably be best, I think that she did at least write you a very nice email and obviously feels horribly about the situation. Maybe she thought email was better than phone/in person so that she could express herself carefully. I actually think she did a very good job explaining the situation and apologizing, and at least realizes that was she did was horrible and that it make take you a little while to forgive her.

I hope you guys work (or have already worked) things out.
