Okay - so the past few months I have noticed this line getting deeper and deeper right between my eyebrows.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something to help out before it gets any worse?

Try an oxygen facial...it helps a lot!

ask your dermatologist about restalyne, its a collagen based thing that i once dicussed with my doc as an alternative to botox.

Have you tried Striv-Ectin? It's a lotion that is great for stretch marks and they say it works for wrinkles too. I know it is a little pricy but you don't need to use very much.

I knew my girlfriend did something so I just called her she said she gets Sculptra its a "filler rather than a muscle freezer". Whatever the heck that means!

Maura in all your pics, your skin looks flawless! I'll ask her about it.

I'm going to have to google sculptra. All I keep imagining is some putty that you fill a hole with! YIKES!

I would go with Restylane like Maura said. I've heard good things about it. My old boss used to get it done and loved it.

thanks celina -- i do have some wrinkle lines on my forehead from scrunching my face and frowning a lot at work. theyre not visible in photos that arent close up but it bothers me. i talked to my derm about getting botox vs restalyne awhile back and found out that unfortunately im not a candidate for restalyne because i have a rare genetic disorder that affects my natural collagen (which ive known i had since i was a little kid), but turned out that the restalyne wouldnt be effective because of that disorder. i didnt really want to do botox because i was too scared about putting poison in my body.

but i saw several other women patient's photos (before & after) who had the restalyne procedure by my derm, and it looked amazing.

please be careful when considering any sort of procedure. I wouldn't go so far to say this is plastic surgery but a couple things you should consider when making a decision to botox (or restalyne) or not to botox are:

is your doctor board certified? and on which boards?
how often does this doctor perform this procedure? I think the safe minimum is 1000.

If you want to check if a doctor has any lost or settled any malpractice suits you can check with your state board www.fsmb.org/directory_smb.html

There is a great article on this in May's issue o Vogue with Gweneth Paltrow on the front. You have to post before and after pics!!

microdermabrasion, maybe a peel...here is an article form forbes. it looks like there are a few options if you don;t want to go the botox route...
