Is anyone doing OOT bags and favors?

Recommended Posts

We are doing OOT bags, and as mmontgo suggested already we are donating to the Canadain Cancer Society in honour of our friend who died recently of Cancer. He would have been in the wedding party so we wanted to make mention of him.

The oot bags will be given to our guests when they arrive to the resort by us, kinda like a meet and greet. The bags are filled with practical stuff (first aid kits, chapstick, sunblock, bath fizzs, postcards, cookies, & spanish for dummies book).

For favors we are doing Personalized CDs of "our songs" for everyone, cigars for men, and scented candles for the women.

I'm another shopper and money spender! ;o)
I was wondering the same regarding giving both to guests. Great ideas everyone!

I have been looking everywhere for "Spanish for Dummies" books. Please please please tell me where you found them! Are they the mini-books?

We are doing both as well. We are doing our OOT bags with first aid kits, margarita packets, travel candles, mini sewing kits, pens, a welcome letter and a personalized cup.

We are doing the same bag for guests staying at timeshares but we are taking out a personalized cup and are adding sodas, water and beer.

For our favors, I am going to have our WC put palm tree boxes filled with custom M&M's on the plates for dinner - at our reception we are having a cigar roller and have custom matches to hand out with cigars at the cigar table.

they were at target in the $1 section but they don't have them anymore. they were exclusive to target. you might be able to get some on ebay if not just make your own little list of spanish phrases. There is posts on here of ones other girls have made.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
