Another great Dollarama find!!!!

Recommended Posts

LOL I'm on my way! I'm a pro stove-dragger now! When we first moved into this apartment (Mats brother owns the house) we did a bunch of work & the main thing was cutting out half the wall between the kitchen & living room. Well the stove used to be where the half-wall now is so although we had to move the stove across the room, Mat took his sweet-ass time moving the stove plug-in. So I had a good month of dragging the stove back & forth for cooking! (I was supposed to have slid something under it to slid it, but the stuff always came out! LOL OOPS!)

I went to Dollarama a couple weeks ago and found my OOT bags!!!! We walked into the store and saw these plastic beach bags and grabbed 30 of them. Then when we were walking through the store, we came across these light, mess bags with a drawstring top. They are super light, and they won't fill up with sand. So we put the plastic bags back and grabbed the mesh ones. We finally found some more of the vases that we are using as our centre pieces at our AHR. Hmmmm....what else....oh yes, we founda few pack of the lipsmackers that were mentions in another Dollarama thread.

I think we ended up going to 2 or 3 Dollarama's and at one of them they had 2 gel candles that were in the wrong place, but they were about 6 inches tall and had shells and starfish in them. One was blue and one was green. I wanted them soooo bad, but couldn't find anymore, so I didn't get them. Has anyone else seen these?

Yes, all three of my Dollarama's have them. Oh, and those plastic bags- they have one big strip or two strips of orange/ blue/ green or pink on them- those are the ones that I'm using for our beach bags. LoL.

Those candles here have a lot of air bubbles in them though.

When we found the mesh bags, we felt the difference in weight between them and the plastic bags, and that was the deciding factor. The plastic ones were light, but the mesh ones were extremely light, and since we have so much other stuff to pack and haul down there, we grabbed the mesh ones. We got them in purple, pink and turquoise.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
