Hi!

I am out of ideas... I am looking for something to make for our destination wedding in Vegas to give as favours to our guests.

I've done some browsing and am going to do some forum searching here for unique ideas... but does anyone have any inspiration or suggestions? Lots of beach-themed things, but with it being Vegas, a beach isn't really as fitting. I'd like to make up little goodie bags for our guests, and I'm very crafty, so the making part isn't an issue!

Whatever we end up doing, I plan to wrap up the goodie bags/items and make poker chip tags to attach that will have our names and wedding date plus "thank you." I just don't know what the actual favour items will be yet! haha :) This is a very laid back wedding, we are simply getting married in a Vegas chapel and doing an informal dinner afterwards somewhere, and we'd like to give the favours out then to thank everyone for coming.

Anyway, if you've come across any unique DIY ideas that would be fitting for a Vegas theme or have inspiration for me, I'd love to hear it! Thanks so much for your help :)

I went to a vegas style wedding a few years back and they used playing card decks that they had gotten printed up special...I just don't remember what was on the front but I bet you could come up with something cute! maybe the "Welcom to Las Vegas" sign..you know the famous one....

Oh yeah for centerpieces..they used huge martini glasses sitting on mirrors planted with real ivy and they stuck those plastic pink flamingo drink stirers in them and scattered coin candy on the mirrors with votives and poker chips....it was really cute!

I know I'm way late on this but what about scratch off lottery cards with a penny in glassine envelopes and close it with a sticker with your names, wedding date and location and a little wording in the middle like : Lucky in Love or Lucked Up or something creative like that!

that is a really cute idea! if you search on here, some of us have had round stickers made at Zazzle custom t-shirts and more, create or shop for unique designs shipped in 24 hours, with our logo's, and some have even made their own using avery templates.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
