Danielle-I hope they can retrieve some stuff from your pc, I know that feeling of losing all your files. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Michelle-Thats a good question. My dress has not come in yet, they expect it to be in by the end of this month. But I'm in no rush for those alterations bc I have serious weight to lose! grrrrr

Celina-Cant wait to see those pics girl wink.gif

I haven't been doing much ladies, shame on me!!! The only thing I did this wknd was order the raffian fans and get my daughter's flower-girl dress...here's a pic of it:

David's Bridal - Flower Girl FG9406 Tank satin bodice with satin bow at waist..

She's wearing it to my friend's wedding and my wedding as well...at least I can change the sash on it to match the color schemes of both weddings. I'll try to get a picture of my daughter in the pics for ya'll wink.gif

Is anyone doing the starfish placecards?? I bought the white pencil starfish but I had to throw a few of them away bc I left them out in the sun just a bit too long. Then the others vary greatly in size and thickness. Some are nice and full, others are really thin and much smaller. I'm really losing my interest in using them for my placecards, I really don't know what to do...plus I have to order more of them.

Well for my friend's wedding the sash will be in Pool-which is that turquoise type of blue....for our wedding the sash will be in chocolate brown. Now I have to find some cute shoes...the ones I DB had too much of a heel for her.

No placecards here, sorry. Maybe if you take a break from that project your interest will get renewed in the idea?
Thanks. I'm going to give it a break. I may just go to Michael's and get the placecards where you can print them yourself and call it a day. perhaps I can use my starfish for decorations.

That will look really cute!

So I got a couple things accomplished this weekend. I did order our sand ceremony kit which ended up being on sale (I posted the link on a new thread). Woo hoo! I also found flip flop sandals for FI to wear with his suit. He decided wearing brown shoes and socks would be too hot, but he hates flip flops. I found a pair that he actually thinks are comfortable. I also took FMIL shopping and she found her dress and shoes for the wedding.

I ordered the turquoise fans. Well, I actually go them off another BDW bride that got them and thought they weren't quite the right colour for her, so she is shipping them up to me!! Yeah, I am sooo excited since the company doesn't ship to Canada, so I thought I would be out of luck to get the coloured ones!

Flygirl - Welcome to the November Bride thread! Let us know how we can help!

Michelle - my seamstress suggested I take her my dress in late August at the earliest. I'm kind of glad I put it on because now I know what I need to work on to make it fit better!

Jessica - hope the wedding went well! The FG dress is cute! I love the bottom of the dress - I'm sure she'll look like a little angel!

Erica - YAY for finding the fans!

Well - FI went camping and misplaced our camera so I couldn't take pics of my invites and OOT bags. evil.gif

I wasn't able to go look for a sombrero because I was so tired. Me and the kids ran errands all day Saturday in the heat and my poor little boy was so tired of going all day. We got home around 3 and he was knocked out. I was going to go yesterday but FI got home early from camping and was very sick. So I just stayed in and finished laundry and made dinner.

Our weekends are filling up. I am starting to feel the pressure!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
