Danielle, very exciting to get your band. That is tough to do. Hope you at least get an idea what you may want.
Michelle, I just made my alterations appt for first week in October and the gal at the shop said that should be perfect.

Michelle-Thats a good question. My dress has not come in yet, they expect it to be in by the end of this month. But I'm in no rush for those alterations bc I have serious weight to lose! grrrrr
Celina-Cant wait to see those pics girl
I haven't been doing much ladies, shame on me!!! The only thing I did this wknd was order the raffian fans and get my daughter's flower-girl dress...here's a pic of it:
David's Bridal - Flower Girl FG9406 Tank satin bodice with satin bow at waist..
She's wearing it to my friend's wedding and my wedding as well...at least I can change the sash on it to match the color schemes of both weddings. I'll try to get a picture of my daughter in the pics for ya'll
Is anyone doing the starfish placecards?? I bought the white pencil starfish but I had to throw a few of them away bc I left them out in the sun just a bit too long. Then the others vary greatly in size and thickness. Some are nice and full, others are really thin and much smaller. I'm really losing my interest in using them for my placecards, I really don't know what to do...plus I have to order more of them.

No placecards here, sorry. Maybe if you take a break from that project your interest will get renewed in the idea?

So I got a couple things accomplished this weekend. I did order our sand ceremony kit which ended up being on sale (I posted the link on a new thread). Woo hoo! I also found flip flop sandals for FI to wear with his suit. He decided wearing brown shoes and socks would be too hot, but he hates flip flops. I found a pair that he actually thinks are comfortable. I also took FMIL shopping and she found her dress and shoes for the wedding.

Michelle - my seamstress suggested I take her my dress in late August at the earliest. I'm kind of glad I put it on because now I know what I need to work on to make it fit better!
Jessica - hope the wedding went well! The FG dress is cute! I love the bottom of the dress - I'm sure she'll look like a little angel!
Erica - YAY for finding the fans!
Well - FI went camping and misplaced our camera so I couldn't take pics of my invites and OOT bags.
I wasn't able to go look for a sombrero because I was so tired. Me and the kids ran errands all day Saturday in the heat and my poor little boy was so tired of going all day. We got home around 3 and he was knocked out. I was going to go yesterday but FI got home early from camping and was very sick. So I just stayed in and finished laundry and made dinner.
Our weekends are filling up. I am starting to feel the pressure!
