Those CD's look great. What songs did you put on them?

Jessica - those flowers will look great in the centre pieces. Make sure you post a pic when you have one together.

warning - about to vent a little.

I hate my seating chart!! It's so hard!! We have 43 people going. 75% of the group is my mom's family. Then we have a wierd variety of "kids". ie 1 11 year old, 2 13 year olds, 2 16 year old, 1 18 year old. Do they all go at one table?

But then there is the issue of FI's brothers. One is 27, the other is 18. FI thinks they should sit together. Wouldn't it be weird to put a table of late 20s/early 30s together and then a random 18 year old?

Seriously. Why is this so hard?

Ugh, seriously. I haven't actually started my seating chart but I'm already getting requests from people not to be seated next to certain guests. Then there's a bunch of people who just don't seem to fit at any table. So while I'm not much help, I'm right there with you!

I was starting to work on a seating plan awhile ago but then decided to forego the whole thing. We will have the head table and then everyone can sit at the other tables around. That was a nice item to cross off the list and not have to worry about doing!!!!

Tsra,

I would seat the kids with their parents. I also think it would be fine to put them together as well - just leave some paper and crayons on the table. It will give them something to occupy their time. I think it would be fine to have your two brothers sit at the same table. It will make them feel special. I wouldn't separate them.

Steph,

I would take out Shakira (Personally - I can't stand her nasaly voice - it sounds like nails on chalkboard for me)lol - and add "Mexico" - I think it's by James Taylor. I love that song! (I think we may use it for our slideshow at our AHR)

What about "Tequila" by The Champs? (we are using that for our cake cutting song)

Hope this helps! Glad to hear you are up and around. I am going to be clearing a space off my desk here in a bit so I can take some pics of my stuff and post tomorrow.

It always is an option, and we were going to do this, but the more we talked about it, the more we thought that it is ackward for people to roam around wondering where to sit. So we thought we'd lessen the guests anxiety and do a seating chart. ( I could toally be wrong about the anxiety of finding a place to sit, but for me personally I hate walking around figuring out where to sit)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
