I think this is pretty typical. I was so bitchy the last month- the tiniest things set me off and made me grouchy. I'm not talking about wedding related stuff either. At that point, I didn't really have much to get stressed over so I just picked household stuff. lol
By the time we got to the wedding I totally had the "let's get this thing done!!" attitude. I really didn't care about the details anymore and it worked out great. We had a great time even though there were a few mishaps.
Now that I'm home again, I feel great. I love sitting back and not having this "wedding cloud" over my shoulders. I feel so free. haha
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that what you are experiencing is not unusual. Just try to let things roll off your shoulders and see the stress as what it is- silly wedding stuff. It will all work out beautiful in the end.

I was kind of freaking but then I decided to take 2 personal days off 1 this week and 1 next week and just wack away at any little thing left on my list. Ofcourse I should probably make a list first!
Hang in there, hopefully things will get less anxiety ridden, but how the hell would I know I'm in the same boat right now lol!

people are weird its like they are embarrassed to say they cant come or not when i dont really care - i just dont want to pay for two extra dinners and not have someone show up - when its out of the country on top of it! feeling your pain!

We just happened to call them because they were always a bit questionable, and sure enough, it's a no. I'm so relieved we called them! |

It will help a lot if you list the things you are being chanllenged with. Believe me, all the people in this forum will make sure you make the right choice. Don't give up!!! You are in this for fun, not for stress:) |

Prior to yesterday I was in freak-out mode, but today I feel completely exhausted! I'm sort of like "Can't this be over with already" lol. I think my wedding cloud has just started to pour...
This happed to us as well :/
Unfortunatley, some people decided to not tell us they werent coming/change their mind a little too late in the game. What's ironic is that these specific people were the one's that were always like "we wouldnt miss it for the world" lol.
My room attrition had passed it's deadline and now I may have to pay four full nights for 3 rooms (with some wedding freebies removed as well) since I didnt meet the contract due to those cancelations. Ladies who still have some time to remove rooms from their block, trust me: "Maybes" are 99% a "No". I had to learn this the hard way!

This is exactly it!!! We decided that, yes they were embarassed to tell us, but it's way worse to not tell us and have us pay for dinners and drinks for them. It would be literally hundreds of dollars for them not to tell us

The good news is we've pretty much confirmed with everyone. FI has one more phone call to make tonight, and finally I get to get our numbers in!

Steph and Ben - 6/8/08! We did it!
