Maybe I should do some studying up on how to use this website, I sorta just jumped right into it and didnt really navigate through things to see what its all about.
OOPS!

Hi Jackie,

You accrue points by viewing threads (1 pt), starting threads (15 pts) & replying to threads (5 pts). I think you can also get points by winning high scores in the Arcade. I'll donate some points to you so you can view attachments.

Glad to help Jackie! Believe me, most of us were in the same space just a short month ago. Totally understand. You'll get the hang of it quicker than you think - this site becomes super addictive!

Hi,

I also would like to know if anyone has had any experience here. I have been communicating with Mona at Baja Cantina as we are planning to throw a welcome dinner here for our guests.

She is trying to charge us $650 for a bonfire and tiki torches on top of the dinner/bar costs which I think is ludicrous! Beware of this added fee!

Thanks,

Thanks,
Angela,
I think you & I corresponded about this issue in recent history. I did inquire w/my coordinator & I am not being assessed a fee for the mini-bonfire's. I am paying as follows:

REHEARSAL DINNER AT BAJA CANTINA
Taco bar $21 pp
OPEN DOMESTIC BAR 2 HOURS $25ppBar
15% WAITERS SERVICE
10% TAX

MY FI and I ate at Baja Cantina when we were on our site visit in August. We were happy with our meals although their regular menu was quite different than their catering menu. You will be very happy with the location. Its the nicest looking restuarant on the Medano beach and the furniture and unbrellas are not dingy and old looking like some of the other restaurants. We are going to have our RD there also.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
