Border towns (on both sides) are such interesting places. i read this great book called "Borderlands" once which was talking all about how cultures mix along the borders and create their own new, distinct culture... anyway can I say hijacked.gif! hee hee hee...

Anyway thanks for clearing that up for me!
Not everyday you can cross in minutes.. sometimes it's a PITA, but it's good to know it's close hehehe..

Fair enough. At least you get the best of both worlds - delicious tacos AND cheap fat-free products! wink.gif

Though I have to admit we have quite delicious Mexican food here in los angeles... but it doesn't compare the mexican food IN mexico!

Tammy, I'll check out the ones Traveler's Joy too!

Anny, where is Mexico do you live? I adore Mexico - I don't know how you stay so think though - the food is so amazing!

ooh, if they send a check it is good...if they hold the $$ and make you buy one of their packages, not good because then they really jack up the vacation cost.

  • 2 weeks later...

I think another great honeymoon registry is Giftpile.com Honeymoon Gift Registry (the alternative bridal registry).

They were very helpful with some special requests I had and very affordable. My husband and I had already been living together before we got married so we really didn't need any household items and this was a great alternative. Be sure and check out Giftpile.com Honeymoon Gift Registry (the alternative bridal registry) when you are looking at honeymoon registries that do not require you to purchase travel through them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
