Scared about dress...

Am i the only one worried about what my FI is going to think about my dress?

Im like seriously stressing...I went for my first fitting last week (so mad my camera died, totally thought it was charged). Anyway, I love the dress, I feel like a total princess.. (*picture jessica simpsons dress...very similar)

However, I was hoping to take some of the tooling out from underneath...its very full. It flows well, but I just feel like its soooo formal and im worried my FI may think im wearing something way more beachy.

The seamstress said she can take out some of the tooling but she can not gaurantee what it will look like, whether or not it will flow nicely or evenly. I dont know what to do, now im even worried our guests will think im too formal or something...any advice? & sorry in advance for the ramble1-pray.gif

I think as a girl we are so worried at our dress and will our FI like it. But in my case, cant really speak for anyone else. The Dress will be the last thing on his mind. I have a feeling that day kevin will be so wrapped up in emotions and this and that that of course how ill think you are beautiful no matter what. As long as you love the dress I say go for it.

IMO FI isn't going to care how much tulling is in it or if it is beachy enough! He is going to be looking at his beautiful bride and he will think you look amazing no matter what you wear!! I think there is another post on this somewhere b/c believe me, I was sooo worried about FI not liking my dress either! I even showed him 4 pics of different dresses (with mine in there) and asked him to rate them! Mine fell in the middle - which totally made me freak out - sometimes I still do - but as long as you like it and feel beautiful in it that is all that matters! Do you have pics of yourself in it yet?

Thanks, Angela. See, though, that's the trouble. If I didn't think it ws perfect, I wouldn't've bought it, just like yours is perfect for you. I am just scared that it isn't going to be perfect for him. Ya know what I mean?

Then I also know that they love us and they are marrying us and they don't care what we wear! Most likely, they think all the dresses look the same anyway! Girls are such over-anaylzers.

I can completely empathize with you. I often wonder about what my fiance will think (if he hasn't already snuck a peek in one of my file folders on the computer labeled "Susan's dress - do not peek!"), but I am sure he'll be happy with whatever I wear.

He'll love what you're wearing, I guarantee it. prayer1.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
