The starfish that I have didn't NOT make it through 3 weddings. It has been replaced many times. But, i'm going to try the toilet paper roll idea!

You put the starfish in a toilet paper roll? Good idea. I'm going to add that to the nest. Mine is going to be so protected.

girls what are you doing after the starfish dies? We should think "green" and do something cute or crafty with it! Morgan you have any ideas. I would ask to borrow one but I am so afraid it wont make it to Japan! Im going to order mine this week and when Im done you girls can have it!

hmmm, I'll have to put on my DIY thinking cap.

What happens when a starfish dies? does it fall off the stick? or lose all the stones?

too bad BDW starfish can't regenerate.

ooh, I wanna play, too. I was wondering what the starfish in the bouquet meant. I seached & found this thread. I'll have to look into ordering or borrowing!

woo hoo, glad you found it! I am sure you will find someone to share with, otherwise there are some websites listed around the forum where you can buy the starfish.
                Christine + Will (married 7/20/07) + Ainsleigh (born 6/25/08) + Nolan (born 11/9/10) + Delaney (born 12/31/13) = One Very Happy Family!
