I've seen pictures of the ring bearer walking down the aisle with a huge shell filled with sand and the rings on top instead of a pillow. Has anybody seen a shell that large? The biggest ones I've been able to find are 2.5 inches.

      I did this.
I bought the shell at Hobby Lobby for about $2 and about 6-7" long.

If you search for the thread "Ring Shell instead of pillow," you will see pics of what I did.

              Hope this helps!

I think I've heard of people getting the shells from Michaels.

That would be no good, I meant to use it after you filled it with sand.

I was in Target the other day and in their kitchen stuff area they have white bowls that are are shells. very similar to what we actually used but it had a base. I wished they would have had them when I was looking. I think it was about $3.99 USD.

I bought one because we are going the shell we used to our ring bearer in a shadowbox frame.
