ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

Oh my gosh Antonia, your wedding looked gorgeous! The weather was perfect, and you looked so lovely! I can't wait to get married there! I'm so happy to see that your reception on the beach looked private, and there weren't any onlookers or anything like that! I also loved your trip through the town.

Congratulations! I can't wait to hear the entire review!

Heidi - thanks for clearing that up! My FI actually wants to do a week package thing with an airline but its too hard to get a everyone coordinated to fly out the same time/location. I live close to 4 Major airports so its too hard to figure everyones schedules.

Antonia - thank you so much for posting the slideshow - it was beautiful! Was the marriage legally recognized by the church? I would like to do something like that.

Hi everyone-

I am in the beginning stages of planning an Oct./Nov. 2008 wedding. I have narrowed down the sites to the Royal and to the Paradisus Rivera Cancun. Did any of you choose between those two?

Also, I'd love to contact the Royal to see what dates they have available in Oct./Nov. Can you please send me the best person and their contact information?

Many many thanks and I can't wait to hear back from you. All of your posts have been so helpful already!

Katy

Hey girls!

My name is Amy and I am getting married at The Royal August 1, 2008. We are so excited but a little overwhelmed considering we are in the beginning stages. Our ceremony is at 3:00. How many weddings do they have a day?

Antonia- Loved the slide show!!! It just makes me more excited about getting married at The Royal. I can't wait! You looked beautiful and the reception looked great. You had some adorable little ones there with you.

Amy- How long will you be in Mexico? I am getting to Mexico on the 9th of August and I will be getting married on the 14th.

Antonia - thanks for sharing the slideshow! It looked amazing and I can't wait to return to the Royal!

I know you're working on your review but I have a question you may not cover....how did you find the dance floor? I can see that everyone looked like they were having a blast, but it also looked uneven at parts (probably from the sand). Did you have any problems while at the reception or are the photos just deceiving?

Hey girls!

We are using a travel agent to help us with our booking at The Royal and she sent us our contract to send back to them. It looks like a girl named Patricia Hernandez Rubio is our coordinator. Have any of you heard of her? I noticed most of you have been working with Zulma? Any info you have would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Amy

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
