Yeah the drive for Amy is pretty far, but there might be a ferry or something that could make it quicker. I know when she came up for the wedding show they stayed the night.

And maybe we should even do a Mariners meetup this summer? That would be kinda cool. I can get decent priced discount tickets thru work (we're sponsors) but they are nosebleed. We'll just have to drink more beer and eat more nachos to entertain ourselves since we couldn't see very well wink.gif

I would love to do this during the summer. It is an overnight deal for us. The drive from Port Angeles (we take the edmonds Kingston ferry) is about 2.5 to 3 hours, so I couldn't make it on any weeknight. Bummer...let me know if you get together on a weekend! I'm always up for a night out in Seattle.

I'll have to check with work too to see if we have any discounts. I know we send our high rollers up for Mariners games all the time. I'm not sure if we are a sponsor or not. Fortunately, FI is in marketing so we should be able to find some hook up somewhere!

If you guys meet up in the Summer I can make it, need to visit my sister, this time I will go alone, without Erik (he didn't want to do much during xmas, to cold for him lol)
Please let me know and I'll join too. :) Plus I love hanging out with Christa :) (along with her making fun of my boots lol)

OK, so in the short term it sounds like we are planning for Thursday 3/20.

So, I work in Renton. Abbie works in Seatac. Kate works somewhere complicated that involves taking a ferry. Where do we want to meet? I think it would be better for Kate if we could go to down town Seattle.

Actually I live like 5 min from SODO, so it's really easier for me there too, but if it's West Renton that works as well, like Tukwila (Bahama Breeze is fun!). I'm totally cool with anything.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
