Amy, When my BFF got married, she had a chocolate theme. Anyhow, her escort Hershey bars were wrapped in tiffany blue paper and our names were in chocolate brown.....she had steak or salmon as her menu choices. If you ordred steak you also had chocolate brown polka dots on your escort card, if you ordered salmon you had stripes. They were SUPER cute, but I got drunk and ate mine instead of keeping it. ha!

Anyhow, I know you already printed yours, but maybe you could still do something like that?

And, what did you buy at the mallhuh.gif Pictures!

I tried, but you know ppl offer but don't really come through. My FSIL is making the CD's. My friends (2 sisters) added hangtags to my fans. 2 of my BM's already left to Mexico. My SIL lives about 45 min away and it would cost me more trouble to drive all the items to her place then make them myself. I have faith I will get it all done!

Oh Martha, pictures! That's another thing on my list, purchase a camera so I can post all my wedding crap thread, lol. I'll try to find some pics tonight.

As for the escort cards, I have some scrap book paper I purchased a Target a while back and I think I'll try and be creative and add it to the back of the escort cards?? I'll figure it out.

Yesterday was my last and final shower! Here are some of the photo highlights with a link to the whole album at the bottom. (I had such a good time, even though my mom did show up) Enjoy! My Aunt threw an amazing tea party - there were muffins, scones, strawberries, then lots of different kinds of tea sandwiches and punch (with champagne, yum!) and then little french pastries for dessert!

ok this one is not supposed to be of me... my grandma's dog was really mad that everyone was putting all their attention on me instead of her, so she kept running in front of my friend with the camera, standing on her hind legs and waving her front paws at the camera for attention. it was totally hilarious! in the photo, i'm not all smiley because of the gift i was opening, i was just dying laughing at the dog haha

Maura, I love that invitation! So cute! If I were having a baby girl, I wanted a tea party...Love it!

Your pictures look great! I am glad you had a good time...even though your mom was there!

I have to ask, what is GSK? I am sure it is obvious, but I haven't figured it out.

Well, because we are having a boy, I want Jay to be there so we are having a co-ed baby shower...could you imagine the guys at a tea party? Ha! Jay would so not enjoy that!

Ahhh, GSK, makes sense now!

great pics maura, looks like a lot of fun and the presents look amazing - from the wrapping anyway.. I love the tea party invite.

With 12 days to go - what's left

- flower girl baskets

- buy lipstick

- print out grandparents photos

- buy FI present - leaving it until last minute aren't I - no idea what to get him.

and that's it, finished the last of my DIY chores tonight - made two wine charms for our champage glasses ... yay feels good to have the list all but ticked off

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
