wow she wasn't kidding about looking into photographers asap. She's a great girl, too bad, don't worry we have a whole sorority about to be getting married, I am sure we can keep you busy in SD.

I know I asked you about the 31st of March? What about sometime during that first week of april, maybe if I can lose some weight I can do those boudior (spelling?) photos, but really I just want some beachy pics of my mom and me for her birthday and my grandma's birthday. I can e-mail you my exact plans for when I will be there.

leigh - nope, we just talked the once when i put my retainer down! but i do agree, you want to click with your photographer. when i was emailing around just trying to find out who was available for my date, i even felt i got a good feel for people just from their initial responses.

good luck christine! you'll find someone that you'll be happy with - just go with your gut feel! there are many great photographers out there - you'll end up with one of them!

I totally agree with getting a feel for your photographer. I emailed Juan to ask about his availability, and he called me back within like 10 minutes. From Mexico! I was really impressed. He answered all my questions, gave me some recommendations for sites to visit, and believe it or not, referred me to this forum. I really felt like he was someone who went "above and beyond" after my conversation with him.

So, it's his fault that I'm now addicted to this website! lol

Christine, I think Leigh has given you a great recommendation. Liz's website looks great, I like her style, and her prices seems pretty standard. I can't wait to hear what you decide!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
