Hello! I had the same problem. I wanted my family to be able to join. So we booked our wedding at the Royal Decameron, Puerto Vallarta. I know there is one other girl that is having her guest stay here and she is getting married in LC so that coudl be a option. the wedding package here is amazing.. it is a total of 550 dollars for almost everythign and if 20 rooms get booked it is free. So that is what i am doing on July 3rd i hope it was the right choice.. oh My FI and I booked our trip for a hole week there plus our flight and it came to be like 1300 for both total. so not to shabby! Hope this helps!

HI! We got marreid at Hotel Finisterra in Cabo and it was very inexpensive for our guest. I think the all-inclusives are very spendy for guests but cheap for the couple. Ours was cheap for them and not too bad for our own expenses. Our pictures are in the gallery under my screen name. Good luck!

Hello,

I live in a small Pueblo, Yelapa, Mexico. There is a hotel there called Hotel Lagunita. You will find it quaint, funky, beautiful, great food, and I would think affordable. (go ahead, ask for a better rate if you do not like the one offered). I just checked airfares and that coast was $20 more(Puerto Vallarta) than the east coast (Cancun). About $525 round trip pp. It is on the ocean, no cars, available only by boat from Puerto Vallarta. The boat is $20/person one way.

Ask for Lukas. You may find the communication a little whacky at times, so be sure to have a contract. No one would try to cheat you...it is just a little loosy goosey at times. Get it all in writing and give plenty of lead in time.

Ask them for referrals of other wedding parties so that you can get an idea or their experiences. For those wanting a Mexican experience this is a pretty and memorable spot. This is not a RESORT this is an EXPERIENCE.

I have attended and watched weddings there for years, and they are beautiful.

Hotel Lagunita - Travel Getaway in Yelapa, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from the US 011 52 322 209 5050 or 5055.

Disclaimer: I used to have an Espresso stand at the hotel. I have no financial interest in the hotel but tell Lukas Hi! for me!

I know you will choose a great place and have a wonderful wedding. There are many wonderful and I would think affordable options in Mexico.

I think for the money and cost of wedding services the RIU has great deals.

We're getting married in PV at RIU Vallarta and the property was beautiful - as is its sister hotel next door - RIU Jalisco. Prices were great for an AI.

In general, I find that resorts in Puerto Vallarta are coming in less expensive than those in Cancun/Mayan Riviera. I have had clients stay at the Royal Decameron Complex in Nuevo Vallarta and they love it there - it is beautiful and I have seen some weddings done there as well - they are beautiful! Feel free to PM me for more info!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
