Does anyone know what the price range for centerpieces are? I saw on one of the forms on facebook where someone mentioned they start at $150???! That seems really pricey... =/
Hi Sherylh, They do start at $150 unless someone has other information... My "Tall" centerpieces are $240 EACH!
Hi grace! How are things going with the wedding plannin?! I can't believe how expensive they are :( I think I might just make mine and order a small centerpiece to put in the middle

Hey Sheryl, Yeah I remember you were the one who gave me her information. I stop talking to her for a while because I didnt have my date confirmed but now I do and want to finalize the travel arrangements. Did you do single booking or group booking? Im having a party of about 50 ppl and want to do group booking and block 20 rooms. What do you suggest? Thanks again
Hi carolina, I am also doing a group block, I will probably have about 30-50 people so we will be putting down a $100 on each room as a deposit so that guests can begin booking their rooms. We are only blocking 10 rooms for now because we can't really afford to pay more than $1000 and I should be signing a contract with Barbara within the next few days. If you are certain you will be filling up those 20 rooms and can put a $100 down for each I would say go for it. Besides, the $1000 deposit will then be used towards your wedding. Hope this info helps!

OOOH you're the one who stole my 10.11.12!! Hahahaha just kidding... Deyanira is my WC, and when I wanted to book that day, she was like.... sorry, not available anymore hahaha Can I RSVP to your wedding? hahahaha

Anyway, I plan on doing loads of DIY.. SOOOO i might make my own. TO be quite honest, I'm not even sure if I should do the Dreams Ultimate or just do ala carte. I probably really do need to decide like NOW. What have you decided? I've read from this thread that if you let your WC know to use the same centerpiece during the ceremony during the reception, she would move it there. Where are you with planning?

I am so lost. One at a time right?

As for centerpieces... candles? Tall vases? I'm worried though cause I'm traveling from Chicago.

Does anyone know how many luggage/s we can bring?

Im traveling from chicago too.  Im working with a TA. and per her I can bring one luggage free..if i choose to bring another its an extra 25.00 (if its under 50lbs)  Im doing alot of DIY stuff too now.  Not sure what I would have done w/o Pinterest and Etsy.  I was afraid to ship anything down.  If the myself and my future husband i thought if we both brought 2 the it would be 50 bucks.  Saves me the worry have the package getting stuck in customs.  Im not doing any package.  After doing the math...It would cost more to do a package then to just customizes it our self.  When is your wedding...Sorry im alittle behind on all the threads.  : )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
