So after Tammy (at least I think it was Tammy) mentioned I could start a little DIY project to dress up some shoes w/starfish or something, I started searching around. Nothing yet for the shoes really, but I came across these, and I thought they were cute. They could be scattered around on the table, or into a vase or votive or something. I am sure you all can come up with better ideas than I can (and please share if you do!).

This company also has a lot of other shells and beachy items.

Good find Ann, those would look awesome on a table to brighten them up.. BTW it was my suggestion on the DIY shoes.. They have these wedding jew's you can use in your bouquet, I found a starfish that I'm using for my "something blue".. anyway, depending on the size you might be able to order a couple of those and glue them on your shoe.. However I know our local craft store sells really small starfish so I'm sure you'll find some that would work..

Good tip - I have seen those little jewels, I will have to look for them. I just searched on "small starfish" and these little blue fellas popped up, and I thought they were cute. I think they have other colors too.

Great find Ann! I liked a lot of the other shells they are selling to and it seems like the prices are really good. I may buy some!

I thought it could be SO cute to buy these sand dollars and then paint something (what?) on them with a little magnet onthe back:

eBay: Florida Sand Dollar - (50) small - Shellcraft - Cute

There's also these which could be great:
eBay: SHARK EYE SHELLS - BULK 50PCS - Hermit Crabs
eBay: Delphinula Shells - SET of 24 - Sea Shell Hermit Crab

These teeny-tiny starfish are so cute (but I sort of feel bad for them because they were just babies!)
eBay: Starfish Tan - Bulk 1000pcs - TINY up to 7/8" Wholesale

              These are so cool!
eBay: Haitian Tree Snail Shells BULK 100pcs - Rainbow Shells
eBay: Lot of 20 Sundial Shells Beautiful Color Unique Design

              What a deal:
eBay: Starfish Tan - Small 50pcs
eBay: Venetian Pearl (1oz) Tiny Shells Shellcraft Decorating
eBay: Starfish Tan - Bulk 100pcs - TINY up to 7/8"

              The basics:
eBay: 50 LOT WHITE PENCIL STARFISH 2-3" NAUTICAL SHELLS

for those sand dollars, I've seen some girls write names on them and use them as place cards. or you could just put little inspirational sayings on them and place them on the table or something.

These are great to affix to menu cards and escort cards. Even votives, it'll hide the seam it the votives are ribbon wrapped.

Hmmm What do you girls think about that starfish pack of 100, and instead of doing rose pedals on your tables do starfish? I'm just having one long table, and I think it could be cute...

I am thinking of doing the same thing, just scattering them around the tables.
