Pink and Orange Color Scheme... Bridesmaid Dresses?

Recommended Posts

For everyone whom has had or will be having a pink and orange themed destination wedding.... What color dresses are you going with for your bridesmaids? I was thinking a Henkaa Convertible dress, but I have no clue what colors.. Was thinking Orange or Pink but the Pink looks too bright.. :-S

Would love to see pictures of the dresses you have chosen or the ones you are thinking about choosing!.. :o)

I had a little bit of a hard time picking because the dresses I liked my bridesmaids didn't care for...lol....  AND they really didn't want to wear orange...

So we went with these dresses fuschia for the bridesmaids and dusy rose for the jr bridesmaid... they will each have an orange paper parasol.

Here are pics of my daughters in the dresses... one is a bridesmaid and one is my jr bridesmaid:

The color in the first pic is off... the true color is reflected in the pic of the back of the dress... don't mind the fact that my daughter didn't want to put her sandals on!  The dress will also be hemmed to the middle of the knee.

Aww.. thanks for sharing!!.. Both dresses are super cute!.. I love the color of the first one, that's exactly what color I'm looking for..(same color as my pink in my color scheme), Just having a hard time finding it.. :-/

Orange Parasols.. Love that idea!  Where do you get those from? And how do you plan to travel with them?  I've never seen any in person so it's probabaly easier than I'm thinking... lol

You could do dresses that have both orange & pink on them.  Pink dresses with orange sashes look amazing!  Check this out:

I'm not sure where to find the slideshow from that particular wedding, but you get the idea!  You could even reverse the combo for your MOH, if you wanted to (orange dress, pink sash).

About the parasols, almost all fold up small enough to travel with easily.  If you get delicate paper ones, just wrap clothing around them before placing in a well-packed suitcase (so not everything is flopping around in there & crushing them).  The fabric ones are far less delicate.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
