It's all Over! Well I'm back and I wish I was still there! I had the best time and married the Love of my life!! Here's what happened: Day Before Departure: Two of my Bridesmaids & their husbands, my Brother & his gf, and one of Marks friends & his gf arrived a day early. AC had put them up in a hotel by the airport for free because of the earlier trouble they gave me. We decided to stay out there with them. For the girls who live just outside of TO the holiday inn has great Park and travel deal...other hotels must have this too...you stay one night and park your car for 8 days...came to $160 including taxes which was the same as parking at the airport for that long...plus we did have to get up early Day 1: Arrival First class plane ride....so worth it! We got a checked luggage allowance of 2-70lbs bags per person which was more than enough so we didn't need to pay extra for baggage to get our wedding stuff there. Plus we got to load the plane first and got see all our excited guest board the plane. The food was actually really good and tons of snacks and drinks. They made an announcement about our seats " Couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary"...lol...they must of gotten it mixed up with another flight. The Punta Cana Airport was crazy...people getting off the back of the plane got a little separated from the group and ended up in the wrong line but we got them to the right place eventually. Thankfully almost everyone used our luggage tags and I start hauling off our luggage and making a pile to make it faster once they all got though customs. My pile also kept the luggage guys off our luggage. We got directed though to a special bus just for us had a big sign that said "Sherry & Marks Wedding"...lol...they used the wrong name for me all week but I didn't care. Check in was a breeze...but this is also where some of the bumps started...lol. They had a special table set up for our group...this time the sign said the Henddderson wedding...spelled my name wrong and left off the hubby's name completely...oh well...but that did turn into the running joke of the week...it was actually pretty funny. Make sure if you have first time all-Inclusive travellers with you that you mention how important it is to print all your travel Itineraries and hotel vouchers...they don't accept things on mobile phones there. We had two people who didn't think to print it but we got that straightened out. This is also where the FI's mom lost her mind..just before check in she realised she left her dress for the wedding at home. This a a dress that the Fi's Sister who passed away had helped her pick out. Between all the crying we did manage to get her checked in. They gave us a upgraded room in the newest building....very nice...the only downside was it was at the opposite side of the resort from everyone else. looking back on it now I think I would of preferred to be close to everyone rather than get an upgrade...we wasted a lot of time getting back and forth from out room (10min walk, 1 way, from everyone else). Me and one of the other girls assembled the wedding welcome bags...everyone loved them...I noticed people using the bags all week, as well as the sunglasses and first aid kits. Day 2 Bachelorette Party coming next...

Sitting here today watching the rain come down... This week has been full of ups and downs... But all in all its been awesome! It's our last full day day here and I'll be back to reality late tomorrow night... I can't believe I haven't taken any pictures really. I'll have a full update and hopefully some pictures soon! @ OMG...4 days now til I step off the Plane in Punta Cana...My adivce to you is ...get that music list done...it is the bane of my existence right now ...lol...sorry I haven't updated much...I am just too busy... procrastination at it's finest!! I will do a huge Update / Review when I get back though! I cant wait to catch up with everyone else's threads again...I'll see you at the bride meet up before you go on your trip!

@ I leave for Punta Cana on the 22nd! I haven't been online much lately as I get caught up reading posts and then never get my own stuff done! Also work has been super busy too...everything at once...lol! Things are... going...lol! Picked up my dress yesterday...fits good....need underwear... Finished off my welcome letter / brochure Almost finished My pocket map Getting my eyelash extensions on Friday and filled the Friday before I leave Gotta make an apt to get my hair done... Gotta make nail / wax apt... Got groomsmen gifts come in the mail on friday Bought a GoPro! Got my E-ring cleaned...it's in the box now til we leave Gotta finish off my music list for reception and send to DJ, load to DJ app in case, finish off ceremony Music. Got all my forms sent to the resort Gotta get some US money Partially packed I feel like there's more I'm forgetting... I haven't caught up on anyone threads and I haven't even been updating my own...lol guess I'll get to it soon..I wish I had more time left!

@@snswedding2016 Yes pls send me the name of that sunscreen...so there is a tanning place on the danforth unlimited tanning for 3 months $100....that's what I signed up for. my legs and chest are different color from the rest of my body year round so I'm trying to even that our too ...lol

@ I'm getting a fake tan too...Only because I'm gonna burn if I don't...even with 60spf on I burn, so base tan it is. You are so on top of everything! You have no need to worry! I wish I was 50 days out again so I could get some stuff done...it just flies by!! I've been looking into the GoPro but I'm having a hard time figuring out which one to get and what accessories are needed...where did you buy yours?

@@beckys98 We were thinking of buying a GoPro...but it kinda feel out of our budget...maybe it will have to be an early Christmas present...lol! Thanks to you Girls I have decided to definitely do the selfie stick with my phone as well as the scroll...I think I will ask people to sign the scroll right after the ceremony @ I'm totally FREAKING OUT!..lol havent slept in days! I'm behind tho in my planning...damn procrastination!! Been doing computer designing all week...it's good thing Vistaprint is so fast! I have to have that all finshed by monday to send off. Then Music list must get sent by wednesday at the latest. Gotta make all my appointments this week too...hair, nails, eyelashes...etc. I have this terrible feeling I have forgotten something important! lol I just cant wait to get there and relax!

No I just gotta figure out how to get them to Punta Cana without ruining them. @@calgarybride2015 I will give that a try tonight see if we can come to some compromise @ My Bachelorette is in Punta Cana...and apparently its Top-Secrete...I know it some sort of excursion during the day that I have to wear beige shorts and a white top and something I have to wear a white dress for at night...lol... obviously I have one bridesmaid who is concerned about my ability to dress myself...lol...she claims it has something to do with the pictures. so the velum is pretty stiff...I cut out the shape using the template...word to the wise, make sure your template fits, mine didn't I had to adjust after...If I had a full gold or color sheet instead of gold and white pattern you would notice it more! After I cut the shape, I cut X's where the light holes are. I put the paper in place and pushed the big bulbs through the X's...that kept the paper in place. If you have a non see through sheet you can use glue or double sided tape. If you use a Glitter paper the bulbs may not fit through the X's I still don't have a guest book yet...I'm stuck for what to do...I kinda want to do Two things....A scroll that everyone signs after the ceremony...and an advice for the the bride and groom card...I kinda want a picture of each guest / Couple tho so I was thinking of having a selfie stick and my phone there so they could take a picture that I could print later...is that stupid? Hangovers suck!!! I wish I could of stayed longer! Next time that dress is gorgeous on you...I would want straps too...when you have big boobs strapless is just not comfortable! @@snswedding2016 thanks! @ thanks! I bought the gold paper at Micheals... It wasn't until I got it home did I realize it was a velum paper so I couldn't glue it... It's just kind of attached by the lights... It's pretty sturdy, it's not going to come back out or curl...but they have other gold paper I just liked this one the best. @@calgarybride2015 As for the centrepiece , my FI is wanting all blue but I'm more for natural... Doing both might be ok... Guess I have to figure out my seating plan @@Wafflesmom thanks! Ok so the Flags... First I tried writing on them... Not so nice... Then I tried stamping them, but the smudged when I put the flags on the straws... What I did was put the flag on the straw and then stamped it... Watch out it's really easy to smudge so I'm letting it dry for a few days before I test if it will wipe off the flag...
