We were just too young the first time I got married, young and not ready and I had no clue how to plan a wedding properly.  I know much better all the way around this time.

I've ordered a bunch of stuff off of DHGate and I haven't had any problems.  My only issue (and not really an issue of DHgate) is that I'm always guessing what I'll get charged for at customs.  So far I've done... a wedding dress, beads supplies, and waiting on my OOT beach dresses for the ladies.  Loved everything I've gotten so far.  I'll report back if there's any issues though.

That's awesome to hear you've ordered such a variety of things that you've loved.

Jenn, this isn't my first time getting married.  My first wedding was NUTS...I refuse to go down that path again or allow anyone or anything to take my mind away from the point of our day.  Though it was stressful planning this and trying to make decisions, etc., I feel like it's time for me to enjoy this planning phase and be comfortable knowing that I've done what I can and the rest is not something I can control.  I don't want to be upset during a time i'm supposed to be enjoying things.  It's hard sometimes to keep things in perspective, but it's worth it to not be all stressed and nuts which I've already experienced..LOL

Glad your dress fitting went well.  I'm sure you very relieved.  Congrats.

At the end of the day, we can't control the weather so i'm going to do my best to not even worry myself about it. I know my venue has a rain plan so I'm just going to hope for the best and just enjoy our day.

I think May should be decent weather wise from what I have heard.  It's close to about 80, but it may or may not be breezy.  That's fine with me!

Since my pics were a bit dark before, i'm reposting everything and now I've included closer pics of my save the dates and invitations.  Hopefully, this is easier to see.

SAVE THE DATES

This is the insert that I included with my save the dates

This is the outer envelope, inner envelope and magnet save the date from Magnet Street.  I used rubber stamps, purple and red glitter gel pens, and purple and red ink pads from Michaels.  I also printed clear labels with the address listed in dark purple.

I ordered the save the date stamps from Zazzle.com.  I thought they were kind of cute and added that splash of color to the front of the envelope.  I wrote the addresses with a silver metallic pen.

INVITATIONS

Tri-fold jacket with enclosed boarding pass invitation. 

Boarding pass invite and rsvp card and reply envelope, I haven't received the invitation stamps yet.  I will post that when I get my stamps.

Here is the closed tri-fold jacket wrapped in the bow.  The silver love stamp will be placed on the outer envelope once everything has been completed and closed.

She printed them and shipped them to me.  I'm putting the ribbon on, etc. and then once I get the stamps for the inner and outer envelope then i'll be mailing them out.

I am now at 150!!!! Woot hope my status will be soon. Seen some posts where ladies were saying it took some time

I did regular shipping because it wasn't a rush for me at the time. I was silk waiting on other things. Like right now I'm waiting on my stamps for the invites

I'm going to have to test it out by ordering something small and seeing how that works out before i attempt a major purchase. I'm all about saving some money...so I'm game

Thank you! I wish i had picked a colored legal size envelope for the save the dates, but too late to worry about it now. The small white envelopes came with the magnets so that was the only option unfortunately.

It's new school for my older family but not my younger family, friends, and our coworkers so the choice is theirs to pick one...lol. The traditional group can go to Macys if they want so we should have no more complaining...lol
