  1. Ok thanks!!!! It does! It's a manual process, so you should be good tomorrow!
  2. Thank you, thank you! Thanks so much!!!! Thanks so much! So far only one person has received it, and she thought it was Instagram worthy! Made me so happy! Thanks so much!!!! Thank you!! Subscribe to the post and you can come back and download them once you have reached 150
  3. me too! hahaha outside of social media, I have access to everything at work, and having double screens means it looks like I always am doing something work related hahaha
  4. Thank you!!!!! I certainly hope so!!!!! FI was really shocked and impressed, so if nothing else, that made it all worth it for me
  5. Thanks everyone!!!!! Guess I have to wait until tomorrow before anyone starts to receive them...... No calls/ messages today! Jenn- from idea, through design, redesign, printing, cutting, putting together, i would estimate about 40 hours......all done within a week hahaha. I was a but rushed and had to get them out this week. Though the longest was definitely putting them together- that was easily 30 hours (from last tuesday to mailing them out yesterday).
  6. Thanks so much! Honestly, Walmart is amazing! Michael's is good for the odds and ends kind of stuff (like the brads- especially if you have a 40 or 50% off coupon!), but if you want to purchase a personal cutting board with a scorer and perforator, go to Walmart. The only reason I ended up getting my cutting board at Michael's was because it was bigger than the one I had gotten at Walmart, and it was only $5 more. Otherwise, the same size at Walmart was maybe $25? And I plan on using it for everything (menu cards, OOT bag inclusions, pre- travel brochure). Paper- Garden is also an amazing place to order your cardstock. They have sooooooo many choices, and it is strictly Canadian. With shipping and everything for 200 sheets of cardstock (3 different colours) and 50 envelopes, it was only $110. Plus you order per sheet. I also liked that you can do an e-transfer to them instead of using a credit card. It was risky (obviously because you worry at first whether it is legitimate or not), but I trusted and it worked out perfectly.
  7. I'm just going to use something along the lines of: "Amir and Jenny were married in an intimate, private ceremony in PV. They would like to celebrate with all their loved ones upon their return on such and such date"
  8. Yup, most of them tend to only be for 20 people. How much more per person is it? When we were going to go with a the ultimate package, we were going to be charged $85/ per person extra over the 20. Now that we have taken away the reception in total, and are just doing a private dinner on the beach at $55/ person, it is simply working out to what the bigger package cost was, and that is for about 40 odd people.
  9. It will work out... and if it doesn't, than it is because something else will be even better! Thank you I hope I get the same reaction from family and friends BTW, you are soooo close!!! 145!!!!
  10. It's in there If you want to print at Staples, I am sure it is much cheaper... and you have to use their paper (you can't bring in your own). They have done sort of deal with the copiers they purchased, where they have to use Staples/ copier paper. You can print it off on the self- serve copiers, but the lady working there said she has seen a lot of people struggle with cardstock and it ends up having a bunch of paper ruined with getting stuck. I went to Postnet to have it printed, and I am sure they ripped me right off with the pricing ($0.79/ colour page!). But they were amazing and had it all printed for me in 15 minutes. In total, for my printing of roughly 50 colour pages, and 30 black and white, it was just under $50 dollars. I printed on cardstock though, and they said if I had used their cardstock instead, it would have been cheaper. Printing will definitely be one of your biggest costs, for sure.
  11. Just word and power point! Then to keep the formatting, I saved everything as a PDF to print it.
  12. Oh yay! Finally a response to this thread! hahaha So glad to see fellow GTA brides! (and former GTA brides!) Congrats to you all! 15. Even though my wedding isn't until next year, our travel agent secured a great deal for our guests to travel to Puerto Vallarta with us next year. Due to that fact, my invites are being sent out a month after the STD's went out! Every puts down their deposit by end August, and pays by January. yes, we are asking people to commit very early.... but if they choose not to use our TA, and get flights/ accommodations on their own, they are risking a major price increase! We know it is a lot to ask, but such is our reality for our wedding it seems! Without further delay, here are my boarding pass invites! I hope, I hope I give credit to all the right people for this! I borrowed with love templates from: - boarding pass template: foxytv - boarding pass INSPIRATION: ChocoTaco & multiple other brides posts - jacket template: ???? Pictures and templates! All fully cut (took about 3 hours, and then cutting the indents was SUUUPPPPER fun) In the middle of rounding the corners.... amazing how different they look! ALL DONE! These took me two evenings of work. First I scored them, then folded the next day. Putting these together took me an entire evening (like 6 hours). So time consuming to properly cut, measure, and put together. The first 3 pages have this on the back of them. The return ticket has this on the back. The ones going to the states don't have a return postage though. I want to send out a HUGE thank you to ChocoTaco! Your invites were a HUGE inspiration to me, and when I read this, I just knew I had to do something similar. I used a couple lines from yours, in which you explain how life has limitations, and you understand if people cannot make it. I tired to re-write it, but your writing was absolutely perfect. THANK YOU for posting your invite, because it made making mine sooo much easier! All done and ready to be sent out! The ones out of the box are the ones being mailed to the States- I have to get stamps for them still. Templates! (I saved all files as a PDF in order to print them without losing the formatting) I combined these two files into a PDF to print them. I made my logo using this post: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/8310/instructions-to-make-a-logo-using-powerpoint Hope you all enjoy!!!!
