Looking to create a wedding website. Which sites did you use to build your website?

Beginning to discuss details with a resort and wedding coordinator. Any suggestions on the types of questions to ask in order to work out all the details?

I am in the early planning stages and am trying to sort our a budget. I am hoping to stay within 10,000 to 15,000. Any vendor suggestions or tips for getting married in the Cancun/Mayan Riviera area?

Thank you Kstok. It looks like we are both planing a wedding for around the same time I too am finding everything overwhleming and lots of decisions to me made however it is also very exciting! How are you finding the pricing for the travel to your wedding? Are you booking through the resort and paying flights seperately or booking through a TA?

I have not picked the exact shades of colour however I think I am leaning towards a dark purple and a bright lime green I see that you are getting married this coming May at the Now Jade. I have been looking at the Now Jade as a possible resort choice. I am finding it so hard to choose the resort How are you finding planning at wedding for the Now Jade?

Planning a Dw in February in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area. Would love to hear from brides and brides to be who have booked a resort in this area for the month of February and how much it cost for the bride and groom and guests. Month and year of wedding Resort name Price you paid or have been quoted Booked through resort or TA Does that include airfare Travelling from?? I am wanting to make a DIY postcard STD that also has some sort of an RSVP on it as I would like to send out the STD to all and then only send out invitations to those who have RSVP'd to come to the destination wedding .... I thought I would start a thread for Canadian Brides planning on getting married in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area in 2014 !!!!! Would love to hear about any planning you have done so far or any ideas that we could share with each other. I am in the early planning stages of our wedding - I have not even picked a resort yet. So many to choose from I am thinking of going to Mexico this winter for a vacation and plan on looking around at the different resorts to get a better idea Also if you have any suggestions for Canadian Vendors, I am sure we would all appreciate the help Thanks to you all and I hope to hear from you all soon !!!! Any suggestions on a Canadian Photographer I could hire to go to Cancun area for a DW? I live in Ontario, about 1.5 hrs from Toronto. Has anyone hired a photographer from home? What is the prices like? Does this mean that the photographer can take pictures throughout the week, and not just the wedding? Any advice would be great !!! Thank You

I am trying to decide if I should choose the resort photographer, hire a local Photographer from Cancun/Riviera Maya area or bring a photographer from Canada (Ontario - 1.5 hrs North of Toronto). Curious to know when you send out the Save the Dates and the Invitations ? How far between? How far in advance?

Loving the posts about the decorations, flowers etc that are all DIY or purchased at home. My questions : How do you bring it all to Mexico or wherever you are planning to have the wedding? I see lanterns and center pieces and beautiful ceremony decorations, OOT bags and I am feeling very overwhelmed on how to bring all this with me on the trip. I am from Ontario Canada Any advice would be great! Thank you ladies!!!

Just wondering what others did - book through the chosen resort or book through travel agent? If you book through resort it usually doesn't include airfare correct? I'm finding that some resorts are stating that if you book through the resort they will take care of surcharges for the cocktails and dinner receptions ..... Any advice and tips on what the best way to book the destination. Resort or TA?? If you think of anything else I should be aware of I would really appreciate it Thank you all !!!
