I have officially sent my deposit for my July 4th 2013 ceremony and reception at Kukua Beach Club!!!!!! I was going to do it all at our resort , RIU palace, but Kukua seems like a much better and more intimate choice! I am so excited!

I found plain canvus tote bags on Ebay for 12 for $19.99 and was just going to make my own stencil out of freezer paper, and pain on my own "logo". I am making around 12-15 bags so for me this will work well... have your bridesmaids over to help paint them!

Do you have any info on the restaurant? I am wanting to book my small wedding and reception there (around 15-20 people) and just would like some details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am thinking I should just book it! I am currently booked ar RIU palace punta cana, but would really like a smaller more intimate setting.

So I e-mailed the wedding coordinator a few months ago and heard back about a few details. I just e-mailed her back about 2013 pricing for upgrades and DJ and such, hopefully will hear back soon. The biggest thing I am worried about is guests booking at other resorts, since we have to pay an additional $200/person if they are not staying at the resort. Does anyone know if guests stay at a RIU resort, do we still have to pay that? I would think not since we can go to any other RIU in Punta Cana. Does anyone have opinions on using the resort minister (we are having a symbolic but are trying to decide on having my brother officiate, bringing in out side pastor or using theirs)?? Thanks! Hello lovely ladies, I am a July 2013 bride. I booked my trip and wedding at the RIU Palace Punta Cana, but am now desperate to switch my ceremony and reception to the Jellyfish! I have e-mailed the website to request the date, but haven't heard back yet!!!! I know this seems to be a common thing, and can take some time, but it is so difficult to be have patience. I am having a small wedding party, probably 15-20 people, do any of you who have been there think that the upstairs would work for us? Would we take all the space up there with one long table? Thanks fo your help ladies! Keep your fingers crossed for me about getting my date, otherwise I am going to be sooooo sad! -Amanda

I had a momentary crisis and thought of changing venues but already ordered my Save the dates with the hotel name so we are committed. I am booked July 4th, 2013. Any other July brides?
