  1. HI LADIES! I am so sorry I disappeared..... When this site change I gave up on it a little bit.  Our wedding was Absolutely amazing, we couldn't of asked for anything to be done differently.  The week was amazing, we partied day and night and I am sure the hotel staff and other guests were glad to see us leave lol.  Just amazing, best decision we ever made was doing a destination wedding.  All of our guests loved the resort and would return to the Iberostar Laguna Azul.

  2. Good evening ladies!

Missing our chats, it's been awhile.. I'm busy getting some last minute projects done, a little bit each night and I'm checking things off the list :)  This weekend is my Bacherolette.... I will let you know what kinds of trouble my lovely ladies and I get into! ahaha

Alley!!!! How is wedding planning for you!  We leave SO soon.  We must meet while there!!

How is everyone else doing with their planning?

    TTYL xo

  3. Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been MIA....(WOW site change, I feel lost!) so busy with stuff.  Shopping was awesome last weekend, great to get away with the girls.

Great pictures Jolene, congrats!!! :) xo

Lopi your flowers have turned out very nice.  I originally made my own bouquets, and they turned out very nice, but the white roses have this yellow ting to them that just isn't going to work for me. :(

How is everyone doing with wedding stuff, I've still been slackin' - next week is get to it week!!!

Kay - Looks like your jack and jill was fun!!! Your outfits were cute. Love the t's you made. Hope it was a success. Speaking of the pie in the face. I really wish we could post videos. I have a great one too. I was originally supposed to get the pie in the face and then everyone threw in money for Matt to get it. I was standing near (big mistake) Matt and they pied me in the face instead of him!!! It was perfect. My MOH slowed down the video and put sounds effects to it. It was hilarious! I've emailed you the video. Maybe you can send me yours. I'd love to see it.

Kay we are just about twins on everything.....my shower was Sunday as well. It was soo nice. I felt so overwhelmed. Glad you had a nice time! Less than two months away Kay can you believe it.

We found our wedding bands and have ordered them. Bridesmaids dresses are in. Need shoes to have them altered. We are picking up the flowers on Sunday. Just some other small stuff to do. Things are coming along.

Anyone have new DIY projects to share.

Wow we are twins on everything lol... yes the shower was over whelming, I am not good with being the centre of attention!  But it was very nice.  My MOH handed off FI a second pie that I totally forgot we had!  But missed OH My i wanna show you guys the video!

Other then for things like a Welcome dinner or wedding dinner. I wonder if they can accommodate like 40 people for the Japanese restaurant... that's what I'd like to do but I am not sure if that's possible. I've heard the romantic is really good.. I am wondering though if we should leave that for people who want to have a romantic night on their own though. Hmmm the decisions lol!

It would be possible to do the Jap with 40 people I think you would take up 2-3 bars.  I think 16 fit at each one or something.  I would speak to Giselle about booking your a la cartes before hand.  We went on our first day and just took what was available - which didn't seem like a problem.

  6. Hi ladies,

The cuban was amazing which everyone already knows and most of you are saving it for your wedding :) After that I would suggest the Japanease which was amazing, I think this would be a good option for the welcome dinner as it is fun how you sit at the station where the chef makes the food.  We didn't make it to the other ones throughout our stay, just the cuban once and the jap. twice mmmmm :)

Also I ordered a hair flower on etsy and received it today... I was so disappointed... I mean the flower itself is nice... its just that its purple and its supposed to be pure white... I am hoping that there was a mistake and that the seller will fix it! Her reviews were really good and people said if there were problems then she always fixed them so I am just hoping the wrong colour was sent out by accident... but here it is up to my dress...

WOW Csho our rings are almost the exact same, good taste ;) :)  The flower is very nice; but yes purple may be a problem....

I have two not sure which one I am going to use, but I can ship you both after my wedding and you can have them :)

Our jack and jill was a great success. It was very overwhelming to see the love and support from our families and friends. Everything went well. We had a ton of food left over and donated it to a local men's shelter. It was a fabulous night. My only regret was not having a DJ. I would definitely try and find a friend who does this or is at least willing to man the music all night. There wasn't much dancing because of this. It was still a great time.

So you remember the story about me posting an ad on the internet trying to find my photographer.......well I was a little worried because we had not met her yet. Her and her husband came to the J & J. It was sooo nice to meet them and they are very down to earth people like us so that's perfect. We mesh very well and I can't wait to work with them. Glad that worked out well. I was a little worried. I'm hoping she will send me some of the pictures she took. I didn't take any :(

Flowers will be in next week. Very excited to see how they turned out.

The bridesmaids dresses are in. We are going next Thursday to try them on and get all set for the alterations.

Kay have you purchased your wedding bands yet? That's one thing we have left to do. Then a bunch of smaller things and we should be good to go!

Carina. I LOVE dessert tables. I can't wait to see all of your DIY stuff.

    Hi Alley,

Im glad your stag and doe was a success!!  That is amazing that your photographer came and you got to meet her :)  What are her packages/prices like?

Stuff is coming along for you :) Flowers.... dresses !!

We did purchase our bands a long time ago, just to get it out of the way....  Hubby wanted a bling classic band, I don't like it at all but he has to wear it :)

Here they are: (The pictures don't do much justice at all)

We'll actually have to plan our ceremony here then and since we are getting legally married in the catholic church we have to marriage lessons... that should be fun lol! So I think Jan-May are going to fly right by and I hate being stressed out, so might as well finish it up and not have to worry about it!

We also decided yesterday that we are just going to do a dessert table for our wedding here, but now I have a bunch of diy ideas for that as well and not to mention I have to figure what to buy/make for the dessert table... luckily I have a friend who owns a dessert restaurant so she's going to help me out with picking our some desserts and décor ideas... shes so good at that stuff so that will be really helpful!

A desert table is a good idea; what are your AHR plans all together... ?

I know... it has FLOWN by, I've slaked so much and now I feel like I have so much to do.  But everything will get done for sure :)  Stag and Doe this weekend... Alley how was yours this past weekend?  After the stag and doe, I need to finish all wedding stuff and start figuring out the AHR, invitations for that need to go out in December.  Sometimes between the DW, stag and doe and AHR I feel like I have planned a bunch of weddings lol.  And CSHO try and get as much out of the way now, I was always like oh I'm good I have time and than the time has just flown by, feels like summer was last week and now November is almost over!!!!

They do have speakers and whatnot set up at the ceremony site, and have someone from the entertainment crew controlling it.  Im just worried about it getting messes up or something.  I'm sure everything will go fine.  :)
