  2. @meghanc Yeah, I talked to her yesterday and she said they don't do them anymore but they do send you proposal once everything for the wedding is finalized.
  3. The ex can come if people opt out lol. IF not i will have the bestie looking a fool taking pics during the wedding lol. Shes also going to do my ttd photos.
  4. I've heard nothing about a contract....thanks for the advice!
  5. I just talked to Janessa and she quoted me $500 to have a photographer come onsite to do photos. That is rediculous!
  6. Hi Ladies! Im new here as well and definitely have the planning bug. I will be getting married June 22, 2012 and I booked my date in Feb of this year... :-) Congrats and happy planning.
  7. Good Question...to piggy back off of that i would love to know the best place for cocktail hour after the ceremony.
  8. Thats pretty much the idea I have as well, minus the little things like linnens and photographer, dress..etc. I believe the resort will do their part. I just dont know how to lan everything else out.
  9. Hi ladies, I'll be getting married at BPC June 22, 2013 at 6pm. I'm so lost on just about everything. Janessa has been great so far and I'm really glad I don't have to deal with Charmaine that much bc my TA is amazing! I have a ton of questions for you ladies but my mind just went completely blank. Congrats to everyone! Ooh, to those who are having a small amt of guests...are you actually going to have a reception?? I'm thinking of just doing the cocktail hour and dinner reservation as a reception. Then just going out with my besties afterwards.....is that lame?
  10. For anyone who got married here already. What was the most difficult task when it came to the planning process?
  11. Yeah. This is a difficult one. I have a close friend who is also a great photogrpapher, but he's also an ex of mine...I also have an uncle who does photography,, but I'm not the biggest fan of his work. My best friend/maid of honor wants to take pics and claims she has the perfect wat to do it...but I don't know how well that will work lol. Are you having any other issues?
  12. Oh, I completely understand. My maid of honor is normally my photographer, so I'm trying to figure out exactly wnat I want to do about that. I booked the complimentary package and plan on having a cocktail hour and just using the dinner reservation since thered won't be a lot of people. so my main concern is photography and videography. How many bridesmaids will you have? Let me know what you find out about vendors.
  13. Thank you! How are things going planning wise? Has Janessa/on-site WC made it any easier?
  14. I'm new too! and have no clue where to start with the planning. lol I booked my room and the date is set in stone, but now what? haha I will be site searching with you? I really need to find a photographer down there that people have liked. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
