  1. Oh perfect! Ya I ended up finding out from out WC that we can have the florist drop them off and they will set them up!! Thank you though
  2. Hey Jaclyn, If you google Iberostar Rose Hall Beach maps and click images, I found a good one on there,
  3. Hi Shauna, Could you possibly send me an email with these links? I can't open them on here. DAILY PROGRAM 2011.pdf NIGHTLY PROGRAM.pdf
  4. Hi Ladies., I am just catching up on here so forgive me if this has already been brought to everyones atttention but I wanted to go with FLora Fantasties as well and the resort will not allow any outside florists to come into the resort. I contacted them about the vendor fee and they informed me of this
  5. Are the numbers still available? If so how much would shipping be to Pickering, ON L1V7J9
  6. Hey Court, Floral fantasies gave me a few quotes today that I am quite happy with. My Bouquet - blue dendrobium orchids, green cymbidium orchards and peacock feathers- $130 (vs $190 at Tai) Bridesmaids- one single cala lily and a peacock feather- $15 (vs $30 at TF) Corsages- Blue dendrobium orchards (wrist corsage)- $20 ( $45 TF) BLUE DENDROBIUM ORCHID BOUTONNIERE- $5 (vs $25 TF) So basically, other than my bouquet everything else was HALF the cost of Tai Flora. It comes out to be $332 vs $540. Now that $332 includes the travel cost which is only $30 and then of course I would have to pay the vendor fee so I guess $432. Either way, we still save $120 that we could use towards something else.
  7. I also contacted Floral Fantasy and they are MUCH more reasonable than Tai Flora. I was quoted $190 for my bouquet at Tai Flora and Floral Fantasy says they can do it for $130. Also, same price on boutinneires as you got and significantly cheaper for Bridemaids bouquets and mothers corsages. Even with the travel to the resort (which is only $30) it's still way cheaper.
  8. Any further news on when this will be and hotels included??
  9. Add Like Iberostar Rose Hall Weddings on Facebook and they have lots of different set ups for all 3 resorts. It's awesome
  10. We are just having one of our guests do it. She did it at another wedding and it was great. Just find someone who is actually interested in it and I'm sure it will be great. $450 is a bit ridiculous
  11. HI ladies So I have reading a lot of brides questions regarding the table dimensions. The WC emailed me back today and the dimensions are as follows: Round: height 29cm , diameter 71.5 cm, max capacity 10 ppl Rectangular: height 29 cm, width 30 cm, length 96 cm, max capacity 10 ppl Hope this helps everyone
  12. Hello Yes 10 is the maximum but it's completely up to you how many people you want at each.
  13. Hey Love, I've been doing a lot of researching into decor etc, as I noticed the same thing you have in regards to the money adding up quickly. I've found some great websites for decoration if this is something your interested in. efavour.com is fantastic for table runners, tulle, centrepiece ideas, also found some tulle chairbows on ebay 50 for $20 (and you can sell these after) and I have found a few things on Etsy as well. We are paying for a suitcase of decorations to come with us and leaving the suitcase down there when we leave lol. I would just priortize what you really want vs what would be nice to have. Like one of the other brides previously mentioned, no one will notice the small details and the wedding will be beautiful regardless. Your guests will have a great time regardless but if you are looking for a cost effective way, the DIY way is considerably cheaper. As for flowers and what not, unfortunately because Tai Flora is the only florist you can use, if this is important to you, you will have to pay whatever they want you to. They are doing a BEAUTIFUL bouquet for me for $180 (whihc isn't horrible but it would be much cheaper here), to save money there, my bridesmaids will be just carrying one Callalilly with a peacock feather, it's way chaeper than trying to do the smaller version of my bouquet. Just some things to consider
  14. Hey Shauna, Our flight is at 6 am the morning we leave, so we lucked out and are having half of our guests stay in a hotel with us at the airport the night before, so we will be handing half of our bags out there. The other half we have decided to just pay for the extra luggage and bring down there. I also went back and forht with the airport idea, I'm just not sure how well customs will take to us bringing in 15 bags, we also contemplated handing them out before we go into customs and just thought it may be a hassel that early in the morning. In the end, just do what is easiest for you. If you feel like you want to give them out at the airport, just send an email to your guests or call them before and let them know you will have something that they need to leave some room for in their suitcases/carryons. That's my two cents
  15. Oh I completely agree, I think it's ridiculous as well. We have 54 people coming so the wedding is costing $3000. I just don't get what the extra $18 pp is for when it's all inclusive?!?!
  16. Hey Justine, I just meant that in the beginning when the WC was super hard to get ahold of she took care of a lot of things for me. In terms of price negotiations, what specifically do you mean? Like to negotiate the actual wedding cost of the travel cost? If anything to do with the wedding, It would be your WC and anything to do with the trip costs it would be the TA. I didn't know you could negotiate lol hmmmmmm. I'm finding Nolitours a little ridiculous as well, We wanted to stay for an extra 3 nights as a 'honeymoon' and they quoted us $2438+380 tax. Our trip alone is only $1230 taxes in.
