Thanks a MILLION!!! As you can see below... Your explanation was great! Thanks again.

Hi MJ,
I know this is wayyyyy off topic but how are you able to add your links to your signature without showing the http://...??
PS.
I love your cake and cake stand... Very rustic elegant!

What about daily (hourly)???
Thanks ladies!! I will inform all our guests... and post on our website.

Does anyone know how much they charge for wifi? Daily? Or at the internet cafe? Also, how much if for the Wedding Day Pass? (in case guests chose to book elsewhere).

Hello Brides!
I couldn't find a thread specifically for Inspiration Boards. So I thought I'd start one.
Creating a wedding inspiration board is one of the best ways to get your wedding colors and style ideas out of your head and onto paper. (And, trust me: that will make it much easier to convey your ideas to everyone, from your wedding planner to your cake baker.) I don't know about you guys but since planning my wedding, I can't tell you how many times I have been asked by different vendors to send my inspiration board. It is becoming the "norm" to do and is has been so so so helpful.
You can make one yourself using PowerPoint, Photoshop, a Mac, etc. There are also many websites that offer easy inspiration board builders.
If you do not have an inspiration board already, you should definitely give it a shot... And post it here!
Here is mine.

Hey Brides!
I am curious to know what type of room you all booked. I am trying to decide if I should book the Premium Deluxe Ocean View or the Preferred Club Ocean View.

I've loved this song since I heard it, but though it'd be a little cheesy to walk to. When I heard the string version, it's peppy and happy and I just love it for the walk. I'm obviously not into tradition...
OMG!! That is it!!! Thank you so much for posting. Never thought of this song as a string cover. This is PERFECT!!!

This is what I have on my website (long... I know):
Attractions & Tours
Customize your vacation to your own interests. Here are some fun options or feel free to explore your own possibilities. You may make reservations with our Travel Agent (see the Travel Arrangements section for her info) , online or upon arrival in Riviera Maya.
Don't overbook yourself, once you see the sparkling ocean and have a drink in hand, you may want a clear schedule!
The resort also boasts daily activities and has a spa for ultimate relaxation.
Visit Xcaret, Xel-Há & Xplor
Discover the Mexican culture with performances of the most representative culture, traditions and natural richness at Xcaret, the eco-archaeological Park.
Snorkel next to hundreds of tropical fish in Xel-Há, the world's most beautiful natural aquarium.
Get a rush of adrenaline while flying over the jungle on the zip-lines in Xplor
Explore a Cenote
Cenotes are fresh water pools connecting to submerged caverns and other cenotes. They are the famous "water-filled caves" of Riviera Maya that the Maya consider to be sacred. They have the greatest water clarity, perfect for a relaxing swim or snorkle or a once-in-a-lifetime scuba diving experience.
There are many different cenotes, each one a unique, self-contained world. Some are small holes in the ground, other ones are huge caverns good enough for snorkeling and scuba; some have fish others are lifeless but breathtaking.
Dolphin Discovery Cancun
Dolphin Discovery is located in the privileged paradise of Isla Mujeres.
In addition to the distinctive swim with dolphins programs, you will have the opportunity to discover unique experiences with sharks, rays, and plenty of other sea life. You can rest on comfortable lounge chairs, taste delicious, traditional Mexican dishes and refreshing, cool beverages—everything that we love about Cancun. After your dolphin interaction, venture on your own and explore the beautiful Isla Mujeres with its quaint and relaxed atmosphere.
Tulum & Xpu-Ha
Visit Tulum, a strategically designed and fortified city situated next to the Caribbean Sea overlooking an outstanding turquoise beach. Continue this tour with a visit to our ecologial park Xpu-Ha where you can enjoy a day of snorkeling or kayaking and have a delicious lunch buffet. The guided tour to the archaeological site lasts 2 hours.
Chichen Itza
Visit Chichen-Itza aka Mayan Ruins , capital of the ancient Mayan imperial. Follow the steps into the past and discover the most important cultural center of the Mayan civilization. The mysterious city of Chichen-Itza was an important ceremonial center and you can still see the magnificent pyramid of Kukulkan (75 feet high), the Temple of the Warriors, the Ball Court, the Observatory and the Sacred Well where countless victims were sacrificed to ancient gods.
Explore the town of Playa del Carmen
Stroll along 5th Avenue, La Quinta, the popular pastime for vacationers and locals alike. Most of the time the street is pedestrian only, with a casual esplanade feeling. 5th Avenue is the commercial district of the city, in this place you can find almost anything you wish.
Playa's cutest shops and boutiques offer souvenirs, clothes, Mayan handcrafts, silver and much more. Almost everything that is sold in the stores is open to price negotiation.
Getting to 5th Avenue is just a 5 minute taxi ride from Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa.
Entertainment & Nightlife
Nightlife in Mexico is legendary. And in Cancun, the hotel area and city center become filled with music and dancing, announcing endless partying on the beaches and in restaurants, bars, and clubs. The turquoise waters become a mirror for the lights of the nightclubs, which, from the moment the first customer enters until the last one leaves, dedicate themselves to fun.
Cancun has a great variety of bars, restaurants, discos, and nightclubs guaranteeing fun for visitors who want to party as well as those who prefer a quiet evening. Among the classic places to go dancing are the Cocobongo and the Hard Rock Café, aimed at more alternative travelers. Another option is The City, a nightclub that accommodates all tastes.
A more unusual experience is offered by the night boats, a great way to enjoy a trip in the Caribbean under the moon. There are boats for those wanting to have fun on the waves as well as those looking for a special romantic dinner.
Whether on sea or land, by night or day, the fun in Cancun never stops.
Wet'n Wild
Surrounded by tropical vegetation, Wet'n Wild is the only water park in Cancun and Riviera Maya covering 18 acres of land and 800 feet of white sand beach. Enjoy a full day of fun with the family experiencing fascinating attractions such as the Lazy River, the Wave Pool, or the thrilling ride Kamikaze. A refreshing experience awaits for fun-lovers of all ages!

I have a question... We have booked the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package which includes a Honeymoon Package. Is the Honeymoon package the same as the Dreams Eternity Honeymoon Package? Or are there two separate packages? My TA agent is asking for our room type. However, I know that the Dreams Eternity Honeymoon Package is only complimentary when booking a Preferred Club Premium room.

You look BEAUTIFUL!! I love your dress. Can't wait to hear your review =)

OMG your dress is beautiful!!! I am really considering Jasmine's Bridal. Also, why don't you do a blush bow instead of pink.

It is currently at the cleaners, but even the cleaner gave me a discount because my dress was "cleaner than most of the dresses she sees - and it would be less work" - it made me laugh because most of the dresses she sees do not have the adventure that my dress had!
Another question: After you did your TTD session, how did you transport your dress back to your resort? Did you put in a plastic bag?

Sounds good to me!! Please send me the details [email protected].

Why don't you use one of the restaurants to have your reception? Seaside Grill is one of the most popular...

I don't believe you have to reserve so far in advance. You can always shoot your WC an email that you will be interested but I am pretty sure you can work it out when you get there... That's what I am doing. Also, you can ask past brides what the best restaurant for your group might be. I got the idea of having our welcome dinner at Portofino's from a past bride (http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/73522/janines-drc-mexico-wedding-planning-thread-pic-heavy-pages-1-7-are-the-thread-11-11-10/30).
I am also the Ultimate package photography at the rehearsal dinner. My WC Lorena made it clear that if I don't use the video/photography I lose it =(

Congratulations on finding your dress!! It is beautiful. I have an appointment to go to Klienfields in 3 weeks. I am not too found of being on TV but just out of curiosity... Do you have to request to be filmed or do they film everyone then later decide if you want it aired???

We met with Yamina the day we got there to go through everything again. We were emailing back and forth a lot a couple weeks before. I brought my table runners and chair sashes but did everything else through the resort.
We went with DJ Mauricio Neri and he was awesome! He also did our music for the ceremony. We met with him on Thursday afternoon and we gave him a list of songs for the ceremony and he also took good notes on his computer. We also have him a list of songs we wanted to play at the reception and then just told him to play similar music when that list ran out.
The two nights before our wedding it rained so at 3 on our wedding day Yamina came in and asked if we wanted to move the reception to the ballroom. I couldn’t decide because I didn’t want to move it inside but I also didn’t want it to rain. I told her to go ask Luke (my husband) and that he could make the final decision. He wanted it outside so we decided to keep it outside. I am so happy that we did because the weather was perfect. It was windy but it didn’t rain. The following 3 nights the weather wasn’t good so we got really lucky!
The service at the resort was amazing and we originally booked the honeymoon suite and they upgraded us to the Master suite which was awesome. Here is my slideshow.

Also, if anyone is interested, my husband condensed our wedding video so he could put it on facebook and show it to our friends and family so here is the link to that.
The first part of the video is a little cheesy because it is a generic but the rest of it is great. The first song that they are playing (when everyone is first getting there)we didn’t pick but the rest of the songs are the songs that we picked during the times that they played them. The video was just running a little slow on my computer but it might be my internet connection. The actual video runs smooth.
If you have any questions let me know!!
You were such a BEAUTIFUL bride!! I love your dress. Lol @ the men trying to make a pyramid. Did you use the video from Dreams or an outside vendor? Also, I now see what everyone was talking about with the veil... I will be wearing a blusher =)
