For our wedding, we invited about 70 people. Of the 70 people, 20 were for sures. (close family and friends). Our wedding total was 35 people which was intimate enough, not too big, and not too small. It was perfect, because we got to dance the night away, hang our with our closest family and friends, and there wasn't anybody who felt left out. Our only caviat was no children, because we wanted the parents to have a good time without worrying too much about the children. We had a couple of friends who had kids, but found sitters for the week. They were thrilled at the opportunity to get away for a week without having to worry about the kids.
