We're doing our ceremony on the north beach. Then we chose the north jacuzzi for our cocktail hour and the pool deck for our reception. The choices he gave me were the gazebo - which yes, we felt was too close to the pool with too much risk for people in bathing suits in the background of our photos, the north beach and the south beach. The north beach, I'm told, is most private. You can also enter from the presidential suite if no one is staying in it, which I thought was super nice. Hope I helped.

So I am torn. My future in laws are giving us a couple grand to put towards anything we want for the wedding. It is their gift to us. Immediately, I thought about a private rehearsal dinner. I thought no one would hear our toasts, we could present the gifts, etc. Fiance and his mom are practical so they think we should have a semi private rehearsal dinner and use the rest towards our at home reception [which will be in my parents backyard like a romantic garden party]. Fiance also suggested paying for our guests catamaran trips [which I think isn't necessary.] and putting is aside for a honeymoon. I do think it needs to be used towards the wedding...a private rehearsal and the centerpieces seemed like the perfect option and I feel defeated that both of them think a private rehearsal isn't necessary. They said I could have whatever I want but now I just feel spoiled and stupid. Sorry for venting. What would you use a spare $2000 for at Dreams?

Rick, That Seaside Grill reception looks amazing!!! I would love it if we could do that. How much extra are they charging you to close the restaurant. I was quoted $35 extra per person and I feel like, since we'll already be paying per head for cocktail and reception over 20 people, that adding another $35 is too much. Did you get a good price for this? Thanks!

I priced someone coming in and the spa and realized they were about the same price, given I'd have to pay for a day pass. I believe it came to $172 a girl for hair and make up. Our BM dresses were $205, so I'm doing the hair and make up. I just checked in past emails and I can't find where I found those prices. I just wanted to pay for my bridesmaids spa day anyway so that's why I did that I guess. If I find the price list, I will let you know!

Hi girls! So I told some of you that I am doing real touch flowers from a seller on etsy: AlexisGraceDesigns. Below is a photo of my flowers that she has come up with. There are hydrangea, calla lilies, two kinds of orchids, and roses. In order: This is a box called a Blume Box to hold your bouquet, next is my toss bouquet, Kevin's boutonniere, my bouquet, best man boutonniere, MOH bouquet, groomsman boutonniere, and bridesmaid bouquet. I LOVE what she has come up with and I cannot wait to see them for real!

No lyrics Bridemaids Enter: Trumpets Voluntary Acoustic Guitar Me: Canon in D Acoustic Guitar Sand Ceremony: Need a song still... maybe acoustic of What a Wonderful World Recessional: Acoustic Isreal K's version of Somewhere of the Rainbow. Fiance's dad is a musician so he will most likely be playing our ceremony. First dance: Whatever It Is by Zac Brown Band [for now anyway] Father Daughter Dance: EITHER "Taking You Home" by Don Henley [we're huge Eagles fans] or "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts Mother Son Dance: Nooo idea Parents Dance: I imagine my parents will just dance to their song? Which is something by Barbara Streisand.

Ok, so I have our STDs. My fiance's sister designed them. These pictures are samples from the printer so they're not cut yet. My fiance and I have chosen the stock and will have them today to mail out this weekend! I am so excited. People are already asking about booking so hopefully they will book before our invites go out in January!
