We was in Thailand when there was those last riots we and people was burning shopping malls etc.. Any point of our holiday we didn't feel unsafe there even that time when we was 3 days in Bangkok, Only what i hated was we could not to go shopping that area where riots was.

Congratulations for your coming weddings!! I still can remember the exitement i had before weddings, It was allmost best part of wedding and planning the weddings.. We get married in Koh Samui Thailand so unfortunately cannot give you any another tip than get good wedding planner/organizer it will make your live so much easier. But weddings in Mexico sound awesome too!

Hi Caroline This come quite late but hope it helps you or at least some another bride here . Our wedding organizer Aey made us great group deal to Beach Republic in Samui Lamai beach which was perfect place to hang around whith frinds and family. She had many difrent options where to choose, some of resorts was small enought book to use only for wedding party.

Congrats!! We got married too two months ago in samui. We used Dream catchers to do ceremony and reception in beautiful private beach front villa near chaweng beach. Totally agree you Belle your words below. I can't even imagine how our wedding could be more memorable.. Love ThaiBride
